I'm a christian but i can careless if you're lesbian or gay - i respect & love u either way and it's not my place to judge; in the bible it says that only GOD can judge so i dnt understand why ppl have arguments about ppl who like their same sex ; it's not our place to worry about them ; they have to worry about themselves. ofcourse i rather them follow GODs laws and stick to the way it's supposed to be man with women; but they wont change for me, so why bother. What I don't get is that the character played by Elle doesn't just turn around and leaves the restaurant when she sees her blind date or at least when she hears him. But then the movie would only last ten minutes instead of seventy! I noticed that many of the comments here involves God and Jesus. Let me cut through all that: God is a fairytale for adults!

@robwelsh41 Spot on =P I was a pretty devout christian for a long time, and it always made me wonder where these gay bashes come from =/ certainly he calls homosexuality a sin, but he also says we're no more than sinners, just the same as everyone else on this planet. and it's God's job to judge, not Man's...Actually Judging others is a sin in and of itself, and it's even referred to as an insult to God.

Certainly you could fall in love with someone based on appearances, but really. a physical attraction will only get you so far, what happens when she gets older and she starts to loose her beauty? Every(Straight/bi/gay) i've known who base a relationship on looks don't last, they may go on for years, but when they start to get older, things fall apart. sometimes they develop into something more than a physical attraction, but that's pretty rare.

My Christian friends jump in do something incredibly silly, or flirt with random gay person arguing with me to just completely throw them off xD alternatively, they accuse of of being crazy TOGETHER and throw random profanity at us. Rarely do i find gays who're willing consider or have likeminded views, which is pretty depressing =/ i only have 1 Lesbian friend who share's my views. Also, Yes. The world is made up of billions of beliefs, thoughts and actions. a lot of the time...they're going to clash. but you really can't say "They hate us because we're different, they should love us despite our differences...But man i hate them." it's a contradiction, and an oxymoron. "Love me while I hate your guts" is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. If you want people to accept your views, beliefs and actions...try accepting theirs first, you can't wait for everyone else to make the first move
Love is beyond boudaries, guess that goes for the gender boundary as well. To be so hateful and angry towards another person over who he/she likes... now I would say that that is not something a nice person would do.
