This story is so sweet but creepy at the same time. I know his intentions are innocent but he was still stalking her for a good while.

What an adorable thing he did for her, taking the photo with her Dad, I can only imagine what that meant to her.

Had to wipe a little tear away after that one. I'm a sucker for a good ending.

I love the twist in this movie, A-Tai is a strong character.

A lot of people see this movie as “cute and wholesome” and other people see it as “creepy.” I’m somewhere in between because I can sort of see both sides. If you take the film literally, then yes, it is absolutely creepy that he is stalking her, photographing her without consent, kidnapping, etc. But to me, especially because of the supernatural time elements of this movie, I think the plot is meant to be taken more figuratively. It’s really about two lovers whose timing never quite matched up. One is “too fast” while the other is “too slow.” They both have love for one another, but due to their individual life circumstances, they never really matched up and keep missing each other. She basically ignores/doesn’t see him for who he really is for most of the movie, while he is obsessed with her but has to finally accept she must not feel the same way and has to say “goodbye” before she even says “hello.” Each person only gets half the story, and so they don’t really understand what the other one is going through or experiencing. It’s why to understand the whole story we as an audience get to see it from both people’s perspectives. And that’s why they cry in the end because their timing finally matched up and they can finally be happy together.

A former friend of mine married her stalker. She sees no issue with it. She claims it was "cute." I'm still a little freaked out by it to this day, and it's been like 15 years. This movie makes me feel the same way. It's hella creepy and I'm not sure why anyone would claim it's "cute."

A person who is that observant, fast, efficient at doing things should have moved up the corporate ladder long ago. A Tai is the exception, it's probably a supernatural reason she didn't notice and recognize him earlier

I missed a few days out of my life. Went to bed on monday and woke up on Thursday. I woke up and entire family members looked at me like I was a ghost. They said they tried to wake me up several times and thought I was just sick so they left me alone. When I did wake up I thought it was early morning as it was night but the time was 8pm. I should say I did wake up with a real bad headache.

Okay the explanation on how she lost a day and how he got a whole day to himself is actually amazing

I don't care what anyone says in response to this ,but I don't know why everyone is crying. It's weird he was just stalking her ,and just carried her body away while she was frozen

The guy did realize he was being creepy at the end, he cried at the end of the movie after facing the girl and knowing what he did to her and to the others while the time stopped. He was also hit by a truck and got crippled, The song at the end "I started a Joke" was also for him.

That was cripy to take her frozen body travelling here and there. You can only do that when you are very close to that person. But spying doesn’t count as a normal relationship. And her father just get out of the bus leaving her in a frozen state and with a semi-stranger…what kind of Dad will do that? Oh yeah, the kind who abandons his family.

So she has a stalker and one day the world ends for her and in reality her body is being carried around and posed so that her stalker can be with her. And somehow that's cute.

This happened to me once. I woke up in the hospital psych ward committed for my own good. I still have no idea what happened the day before. No one I know can tell me. It's so strange I don't know if it happened or not. I do remember being in the ambulance asking for a cigaarett.
