To make it in streaming you have to be either 1) Exceptionally good at the game (like challenger) 2) Incredibly entertaining for hours on end. Being the class clown and being naturally funny alone isn't enough for 2, you have to be entertaining for hours every day, for years. And lastly you need a great deal of luck and help in getting exposure. There's millions of streamers, yes, millions. Only 0.01% is able to live off streaming, and that's not living good either, most of them live off 500 bucks/month in western europe or third world countries. There are but a few hundred streamers consistently making thousands a month.

A real advice should've been to make youtube videos if you are not high elo ,a lot of really good league content creators are not high elo ,but they make interesting content ,you can try that and when you start getting a pretty good following you can transition to do it streaming aswell ,its not as easy as just streaming but is probably the only way to get known while not being high elo .

For a dude you gotta be at least a little skilled to get a good following streaming unless youre an outlier. For women you can be whatver rank and succeed. Not hating just is what it is Edit: seems people are not really understanding/accepting the reality of streaming. As I said, some male outliers can succeed through personality alone, and we do have evidence of that..however; look at the data. The VAST majority of successful male(make their living primarily through content)streamers for any game are highly skilled. Look at the most successful female streamers. Are they lauded for their skills? The vast majority of successful female streamers on twitch are not in the top echelon of skill. No where in my comment did I say that it's not okay, you do what you gotta do to survive. Its disingenuous to say that what I've stated isnt true. You dont draw conclusions about AVERAGES from outliers. There are skilled female streamers, like the katarina one trick who doesnt use have a cam. Even Emiru is diamond+ I believe. It is simply ignorant to say/think that a good looking woman playing a game at the Silver level and streaming it will have LESS trouble getting viewers than a male counterpart of average looks or below at the same level.

legit advice, -f you want to stream then start with some yt/tiktok content first regardless of your rank, if you get some viewers from other platforms to watch your streams then you win, streaming and starting with no viewers is miserable because you'll just get drowned in hundreds of other streamers that have 1-3 viewers

I think being a streamer comes after you are making content, you can be a gold 3 streamer, but the odds of making out are very slim, is always better to create content before throught RU-vid, Twitter, etc, before you are streaming, in other words, make content to have a brand and a followingand then, give a better shot on twitch
