A good day for cleaning up front gardens (in silence) 

Does anyone agree that it's a privilege to clean up the community? It feels so good to be doing something for others and not just myself.

Just look at the weeds and the state of the front of those properties. Those people don't care no pride whatsoever. God knows what the inside looks like. Thanks for all you do 😊

As someone who has never been to England I find it interesting that most peoples front yards are just stone, brick or concrete? very few of them are actual grass , perianal plants or gardens. I must say you are brave going on peoples property, that is one thing I do not do.

This is how I do it all the time. I don't really speak to people, I don't complain, I don't listen to music. I just clean. Time and time again.

Good intentions but I’d find it a bit weird If someone was litter picking my garden 🤣 Sad the homeowners don’t clean their own gardens though.

No one cares for their front area anymore. Lack of pride, caring? There was a time that no matter how poor you were, they scrubbed their doorsteps spotless. 😥

How do you get litter bags from the Council? Mine has specific bags like yours. Or will they take normal black bags if they are left by a public bin?

Have you ever been to Stoke on Trent? A man has been posting videos of what's going on there. It's terrible and the council is doing nothing about it.

Did any of the residents thank you for cleaning up? Only people that are physically unable to pick it up themselves have any legitimate reason not to. I once saw a blind man clean up after his dog.

Do people ever complain about you litter picking?

I just clicked onto this to see what it was all about, but I have to honest and tell you that I find it disturbing to watch the invasion of other peoples private property. I'm in Southern California and most of us would give you an ear full just for making our dogs bark by coming up so close to the front doors and windows! Then we'd post your face on the ring doorbell website and alert law enforcement about suspicious activity. Yes. we are paranoid! You could never do this for very long in most parts of our state because it's trespassing and it is illegal to take anything without the owners permission. Some of that trash may be their treasure and you just took it without permission. I suspect you meant well, but you still took something that you had no legal right to take in my country! I suppose it's different in your neck of the woods. I had to get that off my chest. No worries, I doubt I'll be back for more OCD Adventures. It was different, that's for sure.
