The girls who played the Sanderson sisters as kids did such an amazing job!

Idc what anyone says , I flat out LOVED this film❤

I loved seeing puppy sit there patiently in the center listening to you guys do the recap at the end.

Loved how Winnie gave up her new power to be with her sisters.

Bette Midler made me cry at the end lol.

the flashbacks of the witches was so smart and good! The little girls killed it

This was a great sequel. Seems like they are setting up for another sequel showing the Black Flame Candle #2 at the end, but I would love a prequel with the young Sanderson Sister 😂

I can watch the beginning part over and over again the youngens did such a great job!

The Sanderson sisters had the coolest entrance in this movie all dark with lightning everywhere

I really wish they would have gotten Kenny Ortega on this film as he directed the first and should continue the story and all the magic he brought to the first one. Hopefully they redeem themselves in the 3rd film as they teased because somethings were missing but somethings were also added that I didn’t know I needed like the backstory of the 3. Overall enjoyed and would rate 4 out of 5 stars

I definitely think this sequel did the franchise justice. It’s super campy, fun, and I think the writing is great. Also I think they did really well with modernizing it as well, with the roomba and stuff. 😂

I would had brought them back, taking powers away, and the three witches live normal lives in a new Salem.

People seem to forget that when the first one came out, they deemed it toocampy and actually not a great movie. Wasnt until they showed it on tv children were receptive to it. This one was a solid sequel , it didn’t always hit the mark, but neither did the first one. It’s very ironic that some of the complaints that people have about this one were the exact complaints adult people had about the first one lol All of us, watching it, as adults are going to notice those things even greater. So my advice to anyone who hasn’t watched it go in wanting to have fun and you will enjoy it. If you go in wanting to nitpick , what have you then you’re gonna have a bad time lol For anyone who loves a campy fun nostalgic movie and would like to see real drag Queens be allowed to be drag queens in a film will love the shit out of it like I did. It made me laugh a lot. It’s still pulls at my heart strings at the end. … getting a little backstory of the Sanderson sisters was a treat and it was just a fun ride.

I enjoyed it!! People complain but, really? Come on, its for kids mostly.The story has a few holes but it's also marketed towards kids while keeping us that grew up with the 1st one entertained. I tried watching Twitches again. It's bad. Also the name Thantos, I kept thinking Thanos..

I went in with low expectations but really had a great time with this film.

I haven’t seen it yet, but have seen lots of clips and reaction videos and tbh it looks better than the original.

I thought it was a good movie however It drove me crazy whenever they mentioned Salem. Salem being one of my favorite places to visit I thought it was great to see some of the original movie film locations there. I kept thinking this is not Salem whenever it was mentioned in this film. There were some nods to salem like the waterfront ,trolley and Sanderson house based on the witch house. All in all I could get passed that and enjoyed the film for what is. Just realize if you ever visit Salem it'll look like the first not the second film but it's a blast. If your a fan I suggest going just set the trip close to a year early if visiting in October.

Th first movie flopped but it eventually became a cult classic. This sequel has that same formula. It's campy and fun. If you're not a fan of the first one then you would't get this. Of course there are some who are over analyzing on their movie reviews.

It was an ok sequel. The first one felt like it had higher stakes and this felt more light hearted kid friendly, which isn’t a bad thing but it lacks what the first movie had and made really good. The beginning with the kid versions was my favorite out of the movie, should of been the main focus really. The ending was rather disappointing

All the new male characters were buffoons in the sequel. Mike, the mayor, & Gilbert were all cartoonish morons. Billy is a zombie but Billy had more common sense than all the new male characters. In Hocus Pocus 1, you had Max who was a relatable character that really cared for his sister. Binx’s story is a story of redemption because he succeeded in protecting Dani in a way that he wasn’t about to protect Emily. Max and Binx were easy to root for but I wasn’t rooting for any of the new male characters in the sequel.

This film was OK but I liked it more watching it the second time 😅❤only thing i didnt like was it didnt feel or have that Halloween spirit . It needed a little more creativity. It missed kenny Ortega tbh . Also maybe some cameos from older former cast members wouldve been cool or gave the witches some newer memorable an funny catch phrases

Some of the complaints for this movie are really narrow-minded. Like how it’s unfunny. Well, think back to the first movie. It has plenty of unfunny gags, like when Winnie acts like a highway patrolman on her broom. Or Billy letting out a big yawn before collapsing into his grave. First movie is full of that. It’s what’s called CAMP. Some people don’t appreciate it, but others are amused by it.

This movie was fine

It was pretty good. Not woke to an uncomfortable level and the kids who played the witches did great. Plus the head witch is from Ted Lasso. They need to remake Susie Q from back in the day.
