Iv watched this movie about 30x. Its beautiful. Its magical. It takes you to a place where you would long to be forever. Brings back beautiful memories for me.
Same here, it's been on my permanent list of feel good movies for years now :-). When on vacations in Provence, girlfriend and I visited few of the filmin locations. Drinking Coin Perdue in Château La Canorgue (or as we better know it as Chateau la Siroque) is one of experiences one never forgets.

Every time I hear pieces of this song in the movie I get so emotional. When I hear the violins it’s like they play inside my heart. This movie has so many underlying messages about love, humanity and what is truly important in life. I lost count how many times I watched it.
Ridley Scott is pure genious. Lent my dvd copy to a friend. Will not return. Been lookin at all pawn & resale to no avail. Quite a quandry. My ultimate feel good movie. A purely joyful production

This is just a great movie with super acting all round and a storyline between a London banker and a beautiful waitress based mostly in rural France. The pace of the movie and the photography are the work of a true artist. The music is the finest soundtrack I have heard in many years. This movie is timeless.
Can you believe I just came across this movie; it is absolutely beautiful. I love the soundtrack I am a nurse and play this soundtrack on my computer on my med-cart when I am visiting my patients it keeps me in such good spirits. Thank you for posting.
Absolutely love this movie (and yes, its still my go to movie when I need to be uplifted) - If life was only this simple from this crazy world we live in - wouldn't it be a beautiful place to escape to? For now its etched in my memory as a very happy place to go to one day.

What a gem... I've often asked myself could I sit and enjoy wine , good company and the occasional game of tennis at a Chateau in France.. .. I think I could give it a try........
