"I know that. I just wanted to be part of it." That broke me to tears. This makes me think of the times with my dad when there have been some faults. We were close, but there have been times when i was angry at him for certain reasons. We had our good times together and there have been times where i would be mad at him, i forgave him for some things and some i didnt. I just wish i had the chance to forgive all of his mistakes. Watching this and thinking about the times together makes me miss him more and wish i can go back in time. RIP Dad My advice: always cherish every moment with your fathers and forgive all of his mistakes no matter how big or small they are.

The whole conversation with Max and Goofy did have truth in it but the whole situation is really Principal Mazur's fault if you really think about it. Had he not scared Goofy into thinking Max would get capital punishment, this likely wouldn't have occured.

The way Max has pounded his fist onto the car was as if a way to pound some sense into his father's head that he's not a little kid anymore.

I appreciate how even though Goofy is obviously *MAD* he never stops to pull himself up first. He always makes sure to lift Max out of the water and to ensure hes stable before climbing on himself. Sure, hes mad; but Max is still his child and he wont stop protecting/prioritizing him over a squabble; regardless on how hurt his feelings are.

Look!! *Goofy:* Oh, the car! _[They begin chasing after the car as it rolls down the mountain highway.]_ *Goofy:* What did you do to the car this time, Max? *Max:* I didn't do anything to it this time, Dad! I only touched it! _[The car goes under a low underpass and knocks their equipment off. Goofy steps on a skateboard and Max joins him. They catch up with the car and Goofy manages to grab the door handle.]_ *Goofy:* You locked my car door! *Max:* *_I_* locked it? Question: How did the car even start to move when it was parked to begin with?

I feel like that car has a mind of its own, it's like it was testing them here. It deliberately fled the scene, knowing that they would follow it, then it flew off the road and plummeted finding a spot in the river where they could let out their steam and argue. It then took them through the longest calm journey through the river so they could calm down. The car then decided to test their love for each other at the waterfall.
