Hey guys!
Today, I bring you another lofi song. After the previous video about Cowboy Bebop and lofi, I've been really getting into this kind of vibe recently and decided to go with another classic anime, Samurai Champloo.
Both anime were written by the same person if I'm not mistaken, but this is a lot more connected to Hip Hop, which I appreciate.
The video for Samurai Champloo was gonna be a different song, but I wasn't totally pleased with it, so I decided to work on something new, more relaxed and short.
Used a nice little effect on the guitars for a lofi sound and tons of reverb on the drums. There is a nice hi hat part that has different attacks every 3 hihats for a great sound.
Overall, I tried to go for something Mugen would listen if he was fading away to heaven, which is the whole vibe behind the video, reminiscing about the past and Fuu and Jin as he crosses to the other side.
The vibes on this anime are also immaculate, so I definitely recommend it, though I find it to be more light hearted then Cowboy Bebop.

Idk how so many “anime fans” don’t understand how beautiful samurai champloo was . It’s story , the cultural overlap of its themes, the characters , even the filler was top tier and absolutely worth watching and breaking down .stories within stories , life in every scene. The soundtrack alone… I mean what can’t be said about nujabes. Ridiculously underrated anime worth a rewatch almost always just a chilling watch

I remember this episode very well, two episodes into one part about Mugen's roots and origin in the far colonies of Ryukyu. Colonies labeled as "desolation" by the girl in the video whose name is Koza. Anarchy dominated the colonies, where piracy was the only criminally lucrative position at that era. A position that Mugen chose to take, persuaded by his backstabbing self labeled partner of his, "Mukoro". You made a very interesting edit, I didn't think these moments would come to light ever again on RU-vid. You have my respect for digging something up that has been long lost.

I recently watched the 1st season, and it was good. But for those who can stomach really, really old animation, I recommend Yabuki Joe, the anime megalo box pays tribute to. Story wise, it's phenomenal, but it's kinda long.
