If he was one that had his house destroyed, he may be finding his own family a place to live. Have any of the other channels had their builders back? Maybe they were arrested for illegal building. Those huge boulders will come down on the roof unless they are directed to slide away from the roof of the house. The only way is to remove the soil from under the boulders in the direction the boulders will roll. All you have is unstable soil and rocks. Grandma go on top of the hill where they moved the soil towards your house and cave and shovel all that soil back where it came from. Once the rain starts and snow you will have nothing but mud slides. You must repair the hill before you work on the cave or the house. By the way, your last orphans are no longer with a cough. They are no longer breathing the bad air from the fires in the cave. I told you then why they were coughing and you didn't care. It wasn't until the doctor told you not to make a fire in the cave when you got sick. They are breathing as normal with no cough.

Another idea is, you can cover the whole new house with tent metrial like sand color, from outside looks like a tent and keeps house warm at the same time and living in clean home not a cave.
