I love when a live version of a song is as good as the recorded version.

The moment where Christina Aguilera had her solo made me shattered into pieces. She gave so much interpretation to this song. The calmness and the breaks were perfectly executed. She is truly one of the best singers out there. She can be loud, or powerful or soft depending on what she wants to portray.

"And I would swallow my pride" Indeed she did. She didn't use her powerful voice to overshadow the lyrics but rather use it softly and gently to tell a story. The first time I heard this song I didn't recognize her voice. I was blown away when I realize she was singing on this track.

She heard the song and felt something special and decide to join the duet with AGBW, which caught by the labels and markets' eyes and eventually this song is No. 1 and won a grammy for AGBW. She did not even attend grammy and let the boys had the stage to themselves and let them own them. I'm glad she brought this song to my life!

This woman’s career has span decades and she is still successful because she has talent. This performance is proof.

I think this is one of the moments that Christina truly showcases her skill in that she is a powerhouse diva that is able to completely scale back her performance to match the tone of the group she is performing with, and not only does she not overpower or distract from them, she only enhances them. If you didn't tell me she featured on this track I would have just thought there was just an amazing girl on it. I never would have known they had a show stopping diva because she does not draw that kind of attention to herself on this. True artistry. On both sides. A wonderful collaboration.

Hate all you want but I think Christina is just amazing here. The emotion on her face and in her voice as the song goes on gets me every time. She was so vulnerable in this performance and it's beautiful.

Xtina has a career of 22 years, has toured the world, has been at the top in sales, and has 198 nominations for international awards, of which she has won 71 (5 of them Grammys). And yet, people are still bitching about her. This guy was a student of a vocal coach I studied with years ago, and I actually heard when she shared the great news that Xtina had liked his demo and wanted to record the song with him. He was EXPLODING OF HAPPINESS. Why? Simple: this guy alone would have achieved not so much. There are THOUSANDS of great songs by THOUSANDS of good indie artists that never get enough exposure (ask me, ask everyone I know in my music school and in musical theater lol). The reason he was released internationally was Xtina. Her star power took this song to charts AND to the Grammys. It's a FACT. Anybody who knows about the industry will tell you the same. So stop saying she was not necessary here, and by all means, stop criticizing her vocal technique here because she's doing a wonderful job and you're just being a hater.

Honestly, this is my favorite version of this song. Christina evokes so much emotion and it adds to the song tremendously. The first run that she does on her solo is so beautiful and simple that it shows a new side to her. The first version is good but together they are truly amazing.
