Right up front I have to admit that headlamps don't really excite me but I have grown to see the utility in them. What I do like to have is night vision while being able to see what I am looking at and this headlamp, with the green light option, has proven to be a gem at camp and around the house.
This is not the "best" headlamp you can buy, especially if you are jogging on trails at night or need a spotlight beam option. What the Sunblesa provides is great light around camp, working around the house, or out fishing when you need to flood an area AND when seeing details without losing night vision is your goal.

Thanks for dropping by, yep it really does make a big difference. At the end of the day the red light is better for retaining night vision and would be the choice for just sitting round eating and whatnot but when you are doing any detail the green is the way to go. And of course turning off all the lights and watching the fire or the night sky is even better!

Yep, I remember your review. For something so inexpensive it does work very well and we really have been using it a lot, in fact did a camping/product testing trip a couple days ago and used it. A year goes very fast!
