The large black rubber thingy resembles the gearshift lever's top in my old 60's VW convertible. Two of the tiny clear bottles have such skinny necks, maybe for nail polish/varnish brushes ? A suggestion for items for your ko-fi store::::: lovely glass bottle stoppers, and those flat glass lids (would make a nice heavy base for fat pincushion). The intro of the dolphins was extraordinary !! Thank you so much for sharing your lovely adventures!! Take care and cherish your life together.

Here in the states they dig up bottles and glass and put a small amount of dirt over the glass so the glass can acclimate slowly to prevent it from pinging and cracking. Film it in the hole and don’t bring it up into the sunlight. Bury it with a small amount of dirt over it so it acclimates and you should be fine.❤

Ian, one of your finds reminds me of the antimacassar, which has two meanings: a small cloth to cover the back of a chair to keep men's hair oil (macassar) from staining the chair fabric, or the sailor's collar that is designed to keep macassar off the uniform. Louise, it is good to see you returning to the outings that you so enjoy! Well done!

I'm sorry about the concave lens Louise, that was very interesting. The tool, reminds me of a leather carving awl, or similar, like what they used to make prints from copper plates. I watched a video of a young man who digs in North Dakota. He was in a very deep dig and found a bottle with wine still in it. As soon as he brought it out, it exploded straight up an out of the hole. Luckily he wasn’t injured!

The rubber ball with a hole in it may have been a handle like a shifter knob for something. The bone handled tool could be a leather working tool. Just guessing though.
