@@noobslayer6915dioramas have various styles, but as you can see this one mainly uses paper. Not all dioramas are boxes, that's just the most common foundation for building one though.

I would personally cry if they were to have messed up and cut the paper out wrong after getting it so perfect, as I would if I was doing something like that and was moments from getting finished only to lose much of the progress within 2 seconds, so the cutting paper part is always tense looking due to how easily you can cut into the artwork itself.
