I would be overly grateful for a video for returning osrs players about things that have changed in the game and are new. I just learned yesterday that monsters dont drop limpwurts anymore and almost had a stroke
I am a 62 year old grandpa, I haven't played since around 2007 and thanks to my very bad memory I've almost forgotten everything about runescape. So I just wanted to thank you a lot for this guide, I can now finally start playing again and hopefully have as much fun as I did many years ago. Again, thank you Sir.
This is cool man, I wish I had this video 2 years ago when I started... I was so lost having not played since very early ‘06... but this is great for anyone that’s about to have their life ruined.... I mean start the game.
I’ve been playing RuneScape since 2005, and while watching this, I cleared my mind as if I was a brand new player. I understood everything you mentioned and was intrigued to play! Good job brother!
I use to play this back in 2007 or so with my brother. We use to walk to the library just to play runescape on the weekends. When I learned that osrs was playable on phones that blew my mind and I decided to start playing it again. Yeah I completely forgot everything and only vaguely remember locations. Glad this guide exists tho
Quick correction for anyone still watching: Your Agility level does not affect how quickly your run energy depletes. This is determined by your weight. Your Agility level only affects how quickly your run energy restores while you're not running.
So basically I learned: A lot of useful things for getting started Have a lot of free time or die Get a membership or you’re basically playing a third of the game
I'm a grown man, 33 to be exact. Started playing back in 2002, back when it was just Classic. The rune 2 hander was the best weapon at that time, and the party hats were only worth like something around 100k maybe less -- I remember Ardougne was just being worked on and they were just about to release dragon items -- I remember first exploring Lumby and meeting friends from school in the Cemetery "Our meet up spot". With our little group was a player named TKS. TKS eventually became one of the greatest and earliest forerunners and players of the game until the Zezima takeover. I've played this game on and off over the years never really resulting in any great achievments besides maxing out one or two levels, attempting to make a pure and a lucky instance where I somehow managed to catfish someone into giving me a white party hat back in 2006. I held onto this party hat and still have it to this day. I'm keeping it there in the hopes that it will be so rare in my 90s in real life. I'm about to seth forth on a new adventure on old school. WISH ME LUCK
12:16 Higher agility does NOT make your energy run out slower, it ONLY makes it restore quicker. Only weight is factored for drain rate. 16:48 Mithril arrows for some reason are cheaper than Steel arrows, making Iron and Mithril arrows the primary training arrows for F2p. 20:41 You said Regular ironmen can't use a bank, simple mistake I think.
I used to play the fuck outta runescape 24/7!! on my acer windows 7 laptop gaming pc 24/7!!!)) it had a intel hd graphics built right in and I loved gaming on my newer acer windows 7 gaming laptop pc that had a intel 800 bulit right in yo
THE BAG IN THE BOTTOM RIGHT LMAOOOOO Uh, I think you mean the ring? The picture is literally a ring, because as you said, it’s the ring slot.... 😭 I’m crying, I love him
Qirky ninenine Having a Minecraft picture and banner after 2015 OMEGALUL. Banner aside, what's wrong with people starting OSRS? All it does is grow the game and allow more players to enjoy the experience
It's a pretty good game you get to do things you'd never do in other games. That can't be said for most games. When I was a teen I'd play for hours now I might play for an hour and finish a quest. Also your character isn't a champion or warrior. It's an adventurer.
Hey guys, I have been on RuneScape since 05’. Like many, as I got older I lost my password and life became more demand, eventually I abandoned RS. Recently, I made an appeal wherein I basically asked Jagex to give me back my childhood, lol. Somehow, they accepted my appeal and got me back into my account. Then I realized all OSRS accounts were reset, felt like giving up. But I decided I’m back, and I want to get to level 100 again. Long story short, can anyone suggest a video for beginners with past XP? Thanks RS fam, good to be back. I’m a n00b again, lol.
When I heard that osrs was coming out i was like sweet maybe i would play again, but then i found out that jagex killed my account and to top it off it has grand exchange which to me was the single worst thing for none p2p characters since the majority of items in f2p are low cost
dont worry dude. I remember back in 06 I started from scratch not even knowing what an MMO was. Its one of the best gaming experiences of my life. This game is a masterpiece! Start from scratch, use your instincts and youll love it. You arent forced to do anything. Youll just work your way up yourself and have an incredible time doing so!
I got the pickaxe and dagger with sword and shield at the beginning and i died and didnt know i could go find my body, where do i get theses items? I died right after the tutorial lol
Incredibly comprehensive video. I played for a few years back in the early 2000s and am thinking about diving back in. This was a great refresher video. Very well done!
Still better than a 10 minute quest taking an hour cuz of Soup fucking up his guides... And SlayerMusiq1 guides are 1:1, so they can just follow them in real time.
seriously tho that's the magic of pc gaming. ever evolving. pubg today wasn't pubg 2017 etc... anyone else wondering why pc doesn't have a hand held portable system yet? #microsoft needs to hire me
@@chesterpanda not realy, id like to know how to play the game right, where to grind and level up at each level, where to get good loot, where are the bosses, its just way too many small thing to know, kinda the problem with MMORPG games, there is way to much shit to learn.
Theo! Thank you for making this video. My brother is getting into OSRS. I couldn’t have asked for anything better than this. Thank you for making it MUCH easier for my brother to stay and enjoy this game with me!!
"Osrs beginners guide" Step one - go outside Step two - find some grass Step three - look at said grass for 4 hours Step four - ask yourself if you enjoyed that, and if you did Step five - tutorial island
Started this game again in 2015, played for a year and had no social life and was depressed. Its a trap this game takes too much time get outta here right now don't look back pls
Great guide man! I consider myself an experienced player but it can be very difficult to explain to a friend how the game functions without giving them information overload or just plain confusing them lol. Definitely gunna share this to some friends I’ve been wanting to introduce to the game! Appreciate it man!
This game I remember playing it when I was like 9 fun times. Much more entertaining then WoW it's like everything a Mmorpg should be crafting cooking killing random mobs. First thing after school poured me a glass of grape soda and enjoyed some RuneScape.
I tried OSRS years ago but didn't even get past tutorial island. LOL! Since the mobile beta release...I really missed out. I am loving the game so far. Another "new" game for me to be addicted to. /sigh
I'm new too but idk if this is gonna blow up on mobile. It's too hard to move around to grind to high lvl. IMP That doesn't mean I'm not playing though lol
I love that this video goes in depth about how to navigate the games interface and things like that before we even tackle the game itself... very important yet overlooked in other guides.. thank you
I just came to the comments to point out that where he is talking about worn gear and he says "the bag in the corner is your rings slot" the bag he is talking about is actually a ring with a gem on it. It doesn't take away from how good this video is, but nobody else said it so I did 😂 awesome video though very informative and in depth, love it.
