I've only been to alcudia once we stayed in Mercer does that sound right, but didn't see this massive beach, is it far from Mercer that's if I'm correct, I know it began with m lol
I've been here 4 times - 2016, 2017, 2019 and 2021 and am coming back again in July '22 I stay literally 5 minutes from the beach at EIX Alcudia or Globales Condes de Alcudia What phone do you use in your videos? It's very clear and excellent quality
Hey Jack, now if you wnat beaches, then Alcudia is definitely the place to go! I'll be posting a beach walk video I made today in the next few days, so watch this space!
My goodness, I have always had negative thoughts about Mallorca and all the trash that goes with it but your videos about the island is really inspiring to see. Alcudia looks like a place I could actually stay and keep away from all the tourists where Magaluf and other tourist hotspots are. I have avoided Majorca, Benidorm and Ibiza for many reasons but I am glad you are putting Mallorca in a positive light. Keep up the great work you are doing
Hey thank you!! That's a massive compliment. Mallorca often gets a bad rap because of all the antics in Magaluf over the years but I've really tried to show the island in the best possible light! There is so much to do and see here year round!
Yeah same with me. I'm german and turn 40 this year. But I always refused to go to Mallorca because of the well known pictures and news about my fellow germans and how they behave there. I always said: "Nope, I'm not going there, I'm not like them!". I didn't know there is a "good side" of Mallorca. Well finally in August it will be my first turn there.
@@markbenelli7569 Mallorca does have a bad reputation but seeing this video does shed some positive light about the island. As illustrated in her videos, there are some quiet and nice places to stay around the island, and I might finally think about going there one day myself. I've stayed around Costa Del Sol region and that wasn't too bad, which allowed me to travel around Andalusia and see its magnificent history
Привет Алькудия, ещё бы разок вернуться в это прекрасное место. Как я вам завидую ребята. Майорка покорила моё сердце навсегда, приезжали два раза. 💓💓💓С любовью из России!!
Love Alcudia, brought back many memories, especially the horses. I hadnt been on a horse before, bit scary but glad I did it, fabulous to do. The horse I was given , she had a Spanish name but it translated to Poppy a lovely brown horse and very gentle. Thanks Alex , great video. x
Thnaks Mozi! I'm also not a confident horse rider AT ALL but this was a really good experience. We've been a few times now . The horses were so lovely. Great they can make this an all inclusive experience for everyone regardless of riding ability!
I booked a last minute to Alcudia without really getting any info on it, after the drama of arriving on the day the storms hit and was pleasantly surprised It's a clean and well organized place, was not rowdy even though it was a busy time and our hotel (Bamboo) was Excellent value for money. I noticed also the Spanish are genuinely nice there , it's certainly on the "go back to" list.
Thanks for the video. We are looking at Alcudia for next summer. We like the family vibe with easy strolls along the beach with chilled out resteraunts and bars. We are looking at staying at SeaClub Alcudia and hoping this is still in a walkable distance to nice family places? We prefer to avoid pubs and sports bars, would you say Alcudia is the right place for us? Thanks
I've always stayed in the south of the island (Cala d'or) but called into Port d'Alcudia the other week and thought it looked nice. The TIB bus service from Palma was pretty good with not too many stops.
What a treat👍🏻 so nice to 10 minutes of sunshine on a cold, wet Danish autumn Sunday. It has been a while since I was up north in Mallorca last. I am tempted to go up there this spring ☀️
It's such a lovely area Finn, I really recommend it! So much to see and do up there! ps. it's also grey and wet here. Not the huge deluge of rain that was predicted thank goodness but just wondering who has stolen the sunshine!
No way !! That’s funny ! You should’ve come to say “hi”! Would’ve been lovely to have met you ! Can’t believe this was 3 weeks ago looking at the weather today !
Depends where you are coming from, re. entry requirements. Check travelsafe.spain.info/ Re. entry to restaurants, it's required for capacities over 50 people.
The resort is amazing in the summer, but can feel a little empty in the winter. If you want to find out from a resident, ask Andrew McVey from the channel Loving Life Mallorca. He can give you detailed info about living in Alcudia. It does have my favourite beach on the island though, and summer or winter, I'd be happy walking along it.
@@MallorcaUnderTheSun thank you very much… planning to move to Mallorca w my wife… we like Alcudia so much but thinking about the COVID if it’s good idea because of all this crazy situation (difficult to find a job as physiotherapist)
@@MallorcaUnderTheSun yeh I love alcudia theres the old town where the market is and the newer area up near the lake at bellevue and the stunning port area. just round the corner is port de pollensa aswell great part of the world it's such a shame about the travel restrictions in spain
Well, i had quite a different experience August 2023....it was crazy crowded. Nice beaches for sure but thousands of people. Sunbeds after 11 o'clock? Not a chance. Old Town is beautiful and i agree on the nice restaurants and great affordable food options
love your videos 👌 we are going to book a holiday and leave the kids with the grandparents 😂, looking for a nice place and hotel near the beach and the pubs and restaurants etc. The golf hotel for adults in acluda poped up and looks nice. would you recommend it? thanks
Hi I can’t decide between Alcudia or Puerto Pollensa. The latter seems to be more expensive and don’t know why!! This is a couples holiday possible car rental, love walking and dining out
