I just put my static on hiatus because i still have a lot to learn about leading a team, we were poorly organized so i called for time off so i can learn how to do this more effectively and efficiently. This video helped a lot
as a fellow static lead, i can try and give you some helpful tips. 1. make sure you know what you want from the group, in otherwords set your expectations. Are you expecting to beat before X time? How serious are trying to be? so on and so forth this sounds easy but can be hard to figure out sometimes 2. try to communicate with your group, remember that this is a group effort, no i in team and all that, so make sure everyone is on the same page. Don't force your group to do one thing, if the majority is pushing for one thing then you should all push for that. 3. make sure everyone is having fun and try to keep moral high, this is probably the hardest thing to do as going a long while without prog can feel demotivating trust i know the feel lol. don't be discourage by it
in that case, may i interest you in some toxic hardcore statics that'll flame you for not remembering a raid using an obscure referece to a boss mechanic from 5 years ago that has some great descriptive name like "wyrms lament" ?
@@AlZahard yes I am interested in toxic statics that will flame me for not remembering obscure mechanic names. Are there any good deals on toxic statics that will flame me for not remembering obscure mechanic names?
After 3 statics (1 that recruited me on PF, the other one that merged with some other members of a friend's static and one more serious one that had mixed members and some retired HC week 1), i have to say that if your goal is to clear ASAP, go for a HC group or do it on PF. I had drama on the last 2 statics i've been in and it isn't fun at all. I cleared this tier's las fight on PF because some people that were there saw i was very decent, so we did team up. Best experience of my life.
Is that the trigg plugin for auto attack timing underneath your storm eye meter? Can you hmu with that because the existing link in the trigg discord does not work no matter what I try, it's busting my balls big time
As a braindead player who still doesn't really know how P3 normal works I decided to just not fuck with PF at all. I don't see a reason to even bother putting myself up to get flamed for having never done savage content before and only ever done one run of titania ex and one clear of hades ex when they were current which involved me being carried the whole time because I only ever understood the circles.
on one hand, i've seen some really garbage PF players. one tank had the damndest time figuring out "pitiless flail of purgation/grace." we wiped several times because of it, and it got so bad the party disbanded 40 minutes in (but totally for unrelated reasons i swear). on the other, a duty finder savage titan basically went without a single death first pull. the issue isn't that party finder makes people dumber, or that it only attracts the worst players, it's that it's inconsistent. you have very little idea what you're getting into when you pull up PF, but you know your other static members well enough to work around their strengths, flaws and habits. Co-healing with a static or even a player who's willing to trust you can allow much more efficient healing, especially when you consider the absolute volume of raidwide AOEs in high end content.
