I'm in school for surgical technology and we call some of those instruments different names. I heard you will hear all the instruments being called all different names. Its hard to know all of the names by surgeon preference but Im learning! Thanks for the video!

I have in interview on Tuesday and I'm terrified lol. They're going to give me a list with a set to make up and I have to pick the tools and make it. They haven't told me what the set is for except that it's 'minor'. My sister works there already and said it'll probably be nasal. This wouldn't be so difficult if there weren't so many that look ALMOST EXACTLY THE SAME. Wish me luck!

@@AT-qq9fe Didnt get it :( It was a trainee job, so obviously they gave it to someone who already had a few years experience with the job. It's less money than stacking shelves at a supermarket, but I'd much rather be doing a more satisfying and interesting job

yes - different names for the same/similar instruments depending on where you work. This is true within the UK and must be more so between countries. I think in general knowing what they're for is a good start, and then learn the names for wherever you are
