A Guide to WayV (2024 Edition) 

i'm taking everyone's feedbacks from other comment sections! so I'm thankful for the feedback - want more footage of member's personalities? on it! i tried to make this as short and concise as possible because capcut and my laptop were not cooperating... and I thought this can be a starting point for new fans! - too much text? I'll try to use the diction/tiktok text to speech option for future videos - not reliable positions? I'm going off what websites say! (even about kun&xiaojun + ten&yangyang being OFFICIAL units)

@electrichearts I appreciate that you have his full name in Thai. I worry that anyone who doesn't know his full name and doesn't read Thai will think that what they are seeing in the Thai equivalent to Ten Lee. I see Ten Lee as a stage name that he uses because it's easier for folks to say.

hello! NCT has a total of 26 members (6 of them are WayV), and there are 6 sub units: NCT U (members according to the concept), NCT 127 (fixed unit; focus on Seoul), NCT DREAM (kind of youth-based, used to have graduation system: once the members became adults they would graduate, but the system was cancelled and now they're a fixed unit), WayV the Chinese sub-unit, NCT Wish the Japanese Sub unit. As for why WayV is not an independent group: I'm not sure, asking sm that question would be the way to go haha. but initially 3 of the members (kun, ten and winwin) had already debuted in NCT prior to debuting in WayV, then later in 2020 xiaojun, hendery and yangyang were introduced as nct members through the nct 2020 group project. Also, initially, it was a very vague area if wayv were nct or not in 2019~2020, but then yeah after the nct 2020 project wayv members participate whenever there's nct projects. other times, even sm forgets they're nct;;;; (that's my opinion lol) LSM wanted to expand into china once again, so they did it through wayv (previously suju-m and exo-m were Chinese subunits for suju and exo that focused on china and they didn't do too well especially after the THAAD issue)

@@electrichearts Thankyou so so much for explaining well enough for basic.. still have doubts but its enough for basic I'll keep following them and understand well.. but according to my opinion.. to promote in different coutries like china and japan and anywhere else.. they should not create sub units.. intsead they should be independent groups.. its like they are using already popular groups' name to gain recognition.. but according to me.. members of sub units are efficient enough to attract public on their talent.. this is 1+ reason I dont like sm for.. like hybe and yg(not saying they best, just eg.) are also in china and japan... but didnt do this sub unit thing... instead hybe launched new group &team in japan. And as for yg i dont hve much knowledge but atleast they didnt do subunit thing.. 1stly its really confusing for newcomer to understand the grouping.. also at awards show highlights I always saw "nct" "nct127" nct dream" I litterly thought that accoring to album concept they might have added words to their group name.. which was really wierd to me.. but after knowing that they are sub units.. I feel this fact is still weird💀😂.. just cuz they debuted later doesnt mean they have to be sub unit to the main group.. they have talent thts why they debuted so let them be individual group.. my opinion only what else we can do.. artist agree to debut as sub units even cuz opportunity to debut is really less cuz competion and favourism is increased so much..still this is shit process to create subunits that way not attracting public instead confuding them!!.. with 26 talented guys they could have created 3-4 groups.. but offcourse sm cant handle much groups.. we know how bad they are at planning, managing and protecting their artists :/

For example, the rest of the groups appear in large numbers, then become small subunits, but with NCT they start out as subunits of a large group. I hope you understood what I explained. 💚💚💚💚💚💚

I'll reply to only ONE of your comments. let me start with, main vocalist position -- ALL websites that share profiles list all three members as main vocalist... and i personally didn't "assign" this to them, i think for a long time now we've come to a conclusion that all three members KUN TEN & XIAOJUN are main vocalists. but i don't just say the three members are main vocalists because i want to HYPE my bias... I admire and love all 6 members and have seen them grow SINCE 2019!! and even earlier because i've been an nctzen since 2016... so it's not just a biased opinion here. if you find this that unreliable and know better, please make yours i want to see how much it differs from mine!

Because he has never been officially listed as the main dancer anywhere. However, Ten is consistently recognized as a main vocal of WayV (and we are discussing WayV specifically) across various platforms. Your XJ is acknowledged as one of the main vocals in NCT U and that fact itself is huge. I don't quite understand why you feel the urge to discredit other members while hyping up your fav. And just so you know, it's possible to have multiple main vocals in one group. If that weren't the case, then XJ would only be considered as only WayV's main vocal and NCT U's lead vocal (just like Ten and Kun XD). I'm sure you won't like it.
