They are simply in a league of their own! It’s laughable that so many people, especially in the USA call a-ha “one hit wonders” because all they’ve ever heard is Take On Me. They have been badly promoted , and even in the U.K. for some reason radio stations very rarely play anything other than TOM or The Sun Always Shines On TV. It’s almost as though there was a conspiracy to keep them off the airwaves. Funny thing is they can still fill stadia around the world, and have legions of loyal fans queuing up to see them. Despite this, music journalists still call them an 80s boy band and have no clue to the fact that they have 10 studio albums and a huge catalogue of music which has sales of an estimated 100 million.
That's right. Besides, how many bands can tour around the world (South Africa, South America, Japan, Australia, Europe...) even nowadays? They can. I don't that you achieve that being a one hit wonder and they certainly weren't that.
In the USA they call A-ha a one-hit wonder because U.S. Americans think they are the center of the universe and they cannot see past themselves or realize there's a whole entire world out there outside of their borders. A real shame because most U.S. Americans missed out on A-ha's beautiful music.

Aha and Depeche mode are 2 of the greatest bands to have transcended many decades of music with such meaningful songs / words and music that will always mean so much to so many .

Just when you thought they were retired as a band, they're back and better than ever! What a beautiful song! a-ha has been a part of my life since the summer of 1985 when I was 13, and I'm so happy that the beauty they create lives on! I love you guys! Thank you for all you have done for us!!
The album "Cast in Steel" is one of A-ha's very best. Blending electronics, acoustic instruments and full orchestra arrangements give a huge sound. The melodies are expansive, yet intimate. The lyrics have a knowing maturity and rarely fall into cliche. Pal & Magne take a lion's share of writing credit, though Morton's contributions are also impressive. Then, when it comes down to the all important vocals, Morton is obviously in top form. It makes me wonder how the American music "industry" has ignored such an influential band for so long. Astonishing! Oh well, their loss & our gain I say 😀👍💗
I completely agree. Have you seen A-HAs incredible performance in South America I believe in 1991. Pro shot- It's on RU-vid and it is incredible. George Michael and Morten. Same caliber. The pinnacle in my opinion. So many songs that Morten is brilliant . Watch on RU-vid A-Ha live 2009 playing outside in some cool European village. What about Morten's solo albums Letter From Egypt and Out of my hands? Have you heard "Movies", "Brother", "Anyone", "What a night". They are nice tunes also.

I don't know why but this song makes me feel pretty sad. It's always hard to look back on the past and see where you've been and you miss the times you had growing up then as you get older it all changes. This song makes you reflect on that so it did what it was created to do. Beautiful song and good video....I love the old photos of them, they add a personal touch. Well done a-ha!! ❤❤❤

A-ha is just part of my happiness ... it was so sad to see them leave in 2010... and I loved it so to see them back this year - we had such a great time in Norway ! For me A-ha seems like Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys, Tears For Fears etc. So glad, that they came back to the scene with 10th studio album Cast In Steel. I love all songs in this album, but best are Forest Fire, Objects In The Mirror, Mythomania, She's Humming A Tune and Giving Up The Ghost.

@@deborahhanna6640 The wolves have been used as a background in the concerts. Possibly on Cry wolf, I don't quite remember. The symbolism is also nice. Two wolves who rock together first, before the third, which is of course Morten, catches up with them and joins the head-bobbing.
