Morten and Mags get most of the attention because they are the most vocal, but I have a soft spot in my heart for Pal. I've always been drawn to the strong, silent types, the humble types. Usually, they are the most prolific in terms of accomplishment, and Pal is true to form; he has written most of their songs and is a perfectionist in practicing long hours until they get it just right.
Pal definitely should be recognised more as a singer, guitarist, musician and songwriter. I really admire them so much. But the one who caught my attention was Pal.
Someone commented on another page that you could drive a truck through the gap in Morten's teeth. Personally, I think it's cute. It sets off his perfect looks, otherwise. In the 20s it was fashionable for women to wear a "beauty mark," a small round black mark which was pasted on an otherwise beautiful face.
They mention during the phone interview that they lived in Britain "to make it" so they have a British accent. However what I noticed about our smaller northern European neighbouring countries (Netherlands, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark) is that they all speak "next level" English compared to Germans because movies and many shows aren't dubbed in cinemas or TV and there may not be as much media content produced in their language in the first place.
Nordic people learn it from a very young age. Plus, their education systems are some of the best in the world. Finland is definitely in the top 3 best teaching methods.
@@nougatbitz Grew up in several different Europeans countries, including Oslo,Norw.Children learn English as soon as they start school, at 5-6 yrs.of age.And hardly no shows or films like mentioned above, are dubbed.TV-Shows like Eastenders, Faulty Towers,"Mrs.Bucket"Diary of Adrian Mole,Mr.Bean+++ And lots of American films. Most Scandinavian children visit England(primerely London) at least once before reaching their teens.Less than a two hours flight.(From Oslo)Many older kids grew up watching MTV,Sky TV, Pat Sharp📼,Thomas Train Tank engine,Postman Pat,and simular shows.Swedish,Czech,German telly too, just to mention a few. When I grew up, in the 80's,/90's some wanted to Finish off school at some college in the US,or went to summer camp at places like Jersey, Isle of Man,isle of Wright,Malta or so.But most still end up with some sort of American accent.I lived in Kent for some time as a child, still only speak proper British with Brits.I'd say English is sec.language in most Nordic countries.Signs and info on public transport & so are written in both Nor/Swe/Dan,then English.Sometimes even in German.During high school ,all kids must learn a third language,German or French. At 15-16(College)Different schools offer different languages.I had Spanish at school, and Russian(Very hard to learn indeed)The school system in many European countries are different from the American School system.Going to school in the Netherlands for instance,is very different from American schools.English is spoken worldwide, whilst languages like Swedish will never be spoken widely across the world.Only in Sweden and Finland. But most Scandinavian ppl do understand their neighbour's native tounge.Like ppl from the Netherlands and parts of Belgium or Luxembourg tend to understand eachother.
Exactly! I mean i have been living 2 years in the US and i still have very broken english and i have to think a lot before speaking, btw my native language is spanish
Back in 1986 I was a real fan as well (I was 14 then). It is weird to actually see a comment of someone having called to some programme back in '86. So I basically can hear your voice (younger voice) through some space and time boundaries...
Sheryl Porter Morten is awesome and I totally understand why all you ladies are so crazy about him. I'm a straight man myself, but his beauty and unique looks can't be discussed - he truly is one of kind
You know, i just saw another interview, where the Host was sampling a table full of Norwegian food, with Morten during the Interview, and Morten said, "Most people speak English, in Norway"! I didn't know this!
he looks so young and modest..his English perfect..look slightly bored...but jokey..teenage heart throbs....notice he has a gap in front teeth...but still is goodlooking..
schools, most norwegians want to keep theyr accent, and some talk in an american or british accent when they speak english. Its harder to type/write english than understand and talk english. as a singer he talks alot of english and learn more from talking it.
Watched this when it was aired on tv the first time in 1986. Our friend recorded it on video. Me, my sis and friend would watch it over and over!! We were crazy a-ha fans! We went to see them live later that year! I remember Claire from Claire and friends being on it and I’m sure Bernie Clifton with his ostrich was on because I remember Mags having a ride on the ostrich, well dressing up in the ostrich if you know what I mean! 😂

Back then, yes.He was actually born by princess Maud in Norfolk at some mansion/residence still owned by the British Royal family. His father was a Danish king.So thanks to England & Denmark, Norway is still a kingdom.I think he came to Norway at three or something. He gained huge popularity and was a very respected person indeed.
2:31 Men vi sa at vi må prøve å få det til å gå litt unna dette her, så det blir fart på programmet. Ja, det er så kjedelig program. Ja. But we said that we have to try to get it to move away from this here, so the program will speed up. Yes, it's such a boring program. Yes.
5:02 my reaction when supreme Austin the kangaroo will destroy you uttp is still terminated from here Thankfully I took his channel down because he violated the terms of conduct of RU-vid First he made bad videos on great users
Эта ненормальная баба везде пишет подобный бред. Наверное, в тайне влюблена в Мортена. А, иначе зачем уделять ненавистному певцу столько внимания?😅 @@lesyanik9528
