This version makes me feel like they're not fighting Hat Kid at all and instead they're fighting each other and Hat Kid's just trying to survive these two maniacs

The Battle of Award 42 is the only boss song that doesn't incorporate Hat Kid's leitmotif. (New Adventure\Her Spaceship) I always took it as Hat Kid being unable to make herself heard over the egos of the two directors.

I love how when each character is singing, it shows their boss fight, and when they are singing together, it shows the "Killing Two Birds" battle from Death Wish Mode.

The part where they sing together/at eachother is so perfect, it's melodious enough to sound good, but they aren't synced up at all, which makes sense seeing as they're screaming at eachother. it's really a genius way to portray their rivalry!

It's amazing how well DJ Grooves and The Conductor harmonize in this song, it really shows that they're two sides of the same coin. DJ Grooves's bits are often sung, fitting his more friendly personality; conversely, The Conductor's are typically spoken/rapped outside of the choruses and other key points, which goes with his more abrasive and direct behavior. It'd be awesome to see the two do a movie together after all this time, and while it seems unlikely we can always hope.

AHiT Musical Bytes is Finally here! The fact that Conductor’s and DJ Grooves’ voices are in the left and right headphones respectively is really jarring, though it really reflects their fights for how chaotic it is and how much is always on the screen flashing, grinding, and slashing. The seperate voices is also a nice touch considering Hat Kid’s situation in the artwork. The voices are amazing too, really fitting for the characters: Conductor sounds like he’d down 8 bottles of vodka and when they ran out of alcohol he’d just straight up start chomping on the bottles themselves, and DJ Grooves sounds both equally sassy and jazzy at the same time that I can imagine the voice playing a sax while skating on ice. Great song! -Though I’m really surprsied there wasn’t a single “Peck” in the song.- Looking forward to the rest of the package! Edit: nevermind I’m deaf aand stupid.

3:01 I don’t know why the way Conductor sings “Let’s put you in traction.” There is so satisfying to me. Maybe it’s because of how smooth it is, and how well it syncs up with the way DJ Grooves sings it but it’s so GOOD!

I just realized: each attack is a reference to a movie one of them made: The disco ball is the DJ groove music movie. The cars are the photo shoot. The knife is the murder for the conductor. The running around one is a reference to when you race in the owl Express. Though there's the bomb... Scratch that. The running one is the creators not knowing what to put as a fourth attack.

This is perfect, I didn’t expect DJ Grooves’ voice but it fits so well and the entire song is amazing

Conductor and grooves roasting each other was what i needed in my life

The way i've always seen it. The conductor wins by default. Why? Grooves, LITERALLY doesn't have a single movie. He gets you famous and then makes you go on a marching band parade. NEITHER of which qualify as a movie. (Though it is arguable you could make something out of it.) Where as the conductor has a murder mystery and a race against time to save everyone from a bomb. So even if you did nothing, he'd win again anyway. PLUS. The conductor has stated MULTIPLE times he DOES NOT care about you or your life. He has put you in danger and wanted to get rid of you from the beginning. And told you to scram and not come back after the award ceremony. Where as grooves still cares about you regardless. So it makes more sense the conductor would be selfish and try to KILL you himself. At least to me.

DJ Grooves is the incarnation and literal embodiment of Club Penguin. Conductor is basically Scrooge McDuck but who owns a train, has no eyes, is yellow, has sharp teeth, and wears a conductor outfit. (Wait, imagine if Scrooge is so rich he *does* have his own train..?)
