I have witnessed so much institutional abuse in my lifetime. The worst was as a juvenile probation officer. Just change the buildings the abuse is still going on. Lucrative business for immoral elite liars in phoney pillar of society clothes from hell. Peace and Gods holy vengeance to all the innocent children brutalized in this far from modern day and age.

Reminds me of a Supernatural episode but in that episode Sam and Dean Winchester came to the rescue.

People deserve what they get by disrespecting the dead!

I wanted to leave-but, only stayed-cus the comments sounded good. 24 mins in….wondering why everyone thinks this is such a good film.

As a person from the Greater Sacramento Area, Preston Castle in Ione, is truly haunted by all accounts. Had friends who were skeptics filming and photographing the place, and strange orbs/lights appear on pictures.

In life always be wise by making the right choices never follow friends or anyone and do wrong or go to dangerous places or anywhere that you don't or really don't know anything about because when trouble starts your so-called ungodly friends can't even save themselves much less to save yours. Don't let anyone lead astray always try to do what's right.

Well that was a first class spooky horror movie, well acted and lots of jump scares, best I have seen in a long time, thank you for the up load, waiting eagerly for more, Anna from Ireland.

It's possible to have some of those things in this docu-drama that could also show how people where treated!

What is so good about this movie? It's been 30 minutes...

The entire movie was like a search operation. I think the ghost was scared to come out. Hahaha. Could have been better. Expected a lot. Disappointed.

We need institutions again. Even though there was abuse, it was nothing compared to what people are suffering today in the US while living on the streets with their little kids in tow. How long will they last on the streets of homelessness? I hope someone is keeping statistics of the deaths of homeless children, teens, and young adults over the past 5 years, not to mention the borderline mentally ill who are out on the streets. That said, great, scary movie! Thank you.

Creepy.. Years ago some friends and I went to an place similar.. It was full of water in the basement just nasty so dark.. And we never wondered off alone..

This started out pretty good and I thought I was going to like the movie a lot. The plot/storyline seemed interesting, and the cast was decent enough, but as the movie progressed, it got really boring for me. It's like the girl with her bf well they kept waiting and waiting for her friend to return except she didn't. So, they decided to just wait there forever which was dragging things out. I'm like "if you guys are in such a rush to get out of this creepy place then go look for your damn friend!" They finally look for her and the whole entire movie all they are doing is searching for the girl's best friend. Ya, you see things move, shadows and sounds etc. like you would in any typical haunted movie. But as the movie dragged on like this for quite a while, I started to literally nod off and got so bored I shut it off. There definitely was not enough excitement for me, and I've seen a lot of paranormal movies with haunted places that were way more action packed and moved a lot faster. Sorry but 5/10 stars for me, I wouldn't recommend it, but that's just me. Everyone has different taste in movies and what they like.

But I like movies like the series “Supernatural”. Okay, next sub is there, I don't count anymore ......

I lived in Ione right next to this place.

That was a pretty well done movie. Acting was acceptable as well. The two girls were definite " lookers ", with Asley slightly edging Liz out. I hope they go far with their acting careers.

Did anyone see that white speck that flew towards the kids as they approached the building? Was that a special effect,a bug or a real spirit?

Wow...the girls wanted to go to the haunted prison then blame the guy for having the key. Lame.

All great 'till, the unexplained malevolence, towards our trio. Was this tortured spirit, just out to kill anyone, it would come across?? I assumed it, would be out for retribution and/or, justice. And the script could've used, more 'hutspah'!!

Typical teens exploring and getting lost & trapped in an abandoned edifice stuff, 40+ minutes before you get a glimpse--and then just a glimpse--of a ghost, with the usual inconclusive conclusion. "Preston Castle?" Since when is a juvenile detention center a castle? Never mind, don't waste your time on this one.

Now going to watch it from trinidad comments encouraging to lets go

The only scary part is the last 20 minutes of the show.
