** I mentioned in my October announcement video that I had several of these haunted reviews going up from Oct 18-25. Clearly, this is only the second one of those, and it's the last day sadly. I loved the creepy vibes of this video it fits perfectly with your description of the book. (also lowkey concerned LOL) bummer about the unneeded POV! *sometimes* that works for me... but it's hit or miss...

Love your review and the creepy vibes!! :) I didn't like this book either, I felt like it was really repetitive and I wasn't interested in the characters! I gave Tremblay another chance by reading The Cabin at The End of the World but didn't like it either 😅

@@iLiviesimone Hahaha XD I mean I really enjoyed the first chapter of The Cabin, but then it just went downhill! I might give him one last chance with his short story collection "Growing Things", but it's really low on my to-read list. There's just something about his writing that doesn't work for me!
