Damn, I was literally just considering buying HE400SE’s and I came back to check out the channel today. The 400’s cost only 50$ where I live so they are a pretty smashing deal. I am actually a little spooked by your ability to read minds. Keep up the content.

I just ordered audeze Penrose x. plus some cool gel pads. them come in tomorrow. can't wait to try them out. hopefully they are as awesome as people say.

Man you put me on the audeze penrose and I couldn’t be more grateful. There is not one single average $200 or even $300 for that matter that can touch these penrose. I’ve created a very good eq setting for them also. I haven’t posted it yet but I do have some 7P+ sew setting if someone needs that also! Y’all listen to this man he really does care it seems!

I bought an ifi zen stack and almost bought the 400se, spent the extra and got the sundaras, def don’t regret it. Please review the sundaras uncle techne I really would like to hear your opinion on them

Techne, why is it that you don't review any of Lucidsound's headsets? I have a Ls35x and Arctis 9x and the Ls blow the Arctis out in sound quality alone. The reason why I bought the Arctis was that the LS are quite uncomfortable for glass wearers like me, so for long game sessions I switch to Arctis. But LS are my one and dun, use them for short gaming, music and watching Atmos enabled movies, the 50 mm deiver do make a difference!

I love watching positive reviews about something I've already bought! Have my pair on the way; should show up in just a few more days. I'm both a musician who appreciates excellent sound, and a gamer who finally wants a truly great pair of headphones with comfortable but dynamic immersion. I don't like the claustrophobic nature of closed-backs for that, especially over a long session. I dislike muddy bass with unwanted resonance rolling over the other frequencies, and I can't stand fatiguing treble. That being said, having a full sound and great clarity without any frequencies lacking is very important, so this review just confirms once again that I seem to have made the right choice. I'll know for sure in a few days!

It depends how the headphones are tuned, you only get a competitive edge from the headphones if they have good imaging capabilities. Closed backs can have good/great imaging but nobody talks about it. Also techne I’d recommend checking out the Ovidius TX-901, apparently they’re killer for gaming.

So i was going to go with the 400se’s but decided to go with the Audio Technica AD700x and am happy I did. The sound for gaming is incredible!

About gaming Imaging is the Most important factor , and for that u need the best ones like HD660s, Sundara, Tygr 300r

I have received the kit (headset + BT module) Headphones is actually OK for mobile but external DAC is recommended (31993 based USB-C DAC works fine) You can plug Boom Pro on left side to add boom mic. Sound stage is wide open BT module may have some annoying pop, but LDAC support works, but USB-C DAC in is disappointing (only 16bit/48kHz with NO volume boost) Mid is a bit standing out and both bass and treble are decent.

What bluetooth reciever would you reccomend for the Devas with PC? I play allot of warzone and other shooters

Is latency a problem via Bluetooth? If it only works through Bluetooth with no dongle connected to the PC via USB? Thanks. Do you just use a normal cheapo Blueetooth dongle or does it come with one? Thanks.

I use Sony xm4 for my gaming. It also has anc. I don't talk on the mic so that's not an issue. I sync it with my smart TV Bluetooth. Works with my Xbox too because I have a Samsung 2020 smart TV.

It took me a while to realize this Techne. But I think you listen to your headphones REALLY loud lol.

Do you really know how the sound stage works? Closed backs don't have an accurate sound stage compared to open backs because the sound reflects in the chassis multiple times. And that's not gonna help the accuracy of the sound stage. Open backs have a good sound stage because it allows the sound to travel outward and makes the hearing environment more natural, therefore wider.
