Don't look at the States with dreamy eyes mate, it's far from the greatest country in the world. Its a harsh, dog eat dog world that cares little for the vulnerable or those who fall on hard times...there's so many things about the UK that we all take for granted that believe me you would miss dearly trying to survive in the States. In fact I would say the USA is almost a land of savages...be careful what you wish for...

The Social Progress Imperative, is a not-for-profit organization that defines “social progress as the capacity of society to meet the basic human needs of its citizens, establish the building blocks that allow citizens and communities to enhance and sustain the quality of their lives, and create the conditions for all individuals to reach their full potential.” This organisation uses the Social Progress Index to rank countries based on their quality of life. The Social Progress Index combines the scores of three main indexes: -Basic Human Needs (health care, sanitation, and shelter) -Foundations of Wellbeing (life expectancy and access to education and technology) -Opportunity (personal rights, freedom of choice, and general tolerance) In 2020, they ranked the United States above the UK as having a better overall quality of life for its citizens. Once again, facts over ignorant prejudices win out.
