Hey, I get all of this but, I decided to go to an American high school for my 11th and 12th and I just wanted to know whether its a good idea.I still have time to decide but don't wanna make a horrible one. And are Indians treated any worse than Americans are treated there? P.S. im an indian

@@hazza3551 I think for exchange students, the experience is typically better. I don't know if it's because I went to a small rural highschool, but we had a couple exchange students (nigerian, indian, and italian) and they all reached kina celebrity status at my school. I think it would be a bit different if you went to a big city school with lots of foreigners, but no ones gonna treat you badly no matter where you go. I think American high school is a good place if youre popular (you will be to an extent because youre from another country.) People say a lot of bad things about americans, but from my own experience we're super excited to show our culture to others, and are very hospitable. I say do it!!

@@hazza3551 well if you're getting most of it from movies, it might not be exactly what you expect but still will be fun! A lot of what people say about americans being racist is kinda outdated. Of course there are isolated incidents, but tbh that's more likely to happen from some random boomer so don't take them seriously. 99.9999999% of high school age kids aren't like that.
