Jon hi! Just wanted to say hello again and that was an awesome study today and I’m so glad you and your wife and Andy are so blessed to be in Scotland. I’ve been praying for dear Scotland so much. I’ve come to find out recently that I have more Scottish on my dad’s side than I knew. Made me so happy! Some Browns and Peeples. My dad’s last name is Lockwood, which I have again as well. I know it’s from the Yorkshire area, England. He also said we have Welsh so I’m trying to track that down. I’ve been doing a lot of studying on Scottish and British history for the past few years, as the Lord leads me. I know someone in my town that plays the bagpipes very well. He is about half Scottish. Hi MariLee ! Thank you for commenting, yes it was a great study. I've lived in Scotland for 13 years now, I moved to Glasgow in 2010, to attend Destiny college. But I was born in England , grew up near Coventry. My dad was Welsh , his family moved to Coventry when he was ten years old. I don't know if I have any Scottish ancestors, but my mum's maiden name was Brown, so we may be related ! What is much more important, is that we are both adopted children of God ! @@JontheBerean Aw Jon yes you are so right about being in the family of God together. I’m so glad that you are my brother as well! The Bible study with David is just so blessed and I’m so thankful for everyone there. It would be lovely to all be sitting in a living room together , drinking tea and eating scones with all of our Bibles open , just pouring over the Word of God. We could be there for hours, just like in the book of Acts. And then pray for everyone’s needs. And the countries.
