Some interesting info about Meerabhai! She was supposed to perform sati(the burning of widowed wife alive along with the dead husband in the pyre) after her husband had passed away, but she refused. This enraged the in laws and the social circle as sati was a symbol of devotion of wife to her husband and considered something of pride in Hinduism. In order to escape from this she would famously claim she is married to Krishna ( the hindu avatar of vishnu) and started writing songs about her love for Krishna. This helped her escape from the prying eye of her in-laws and family with the excuse that she is now a saint. Many, think the story of Meerabhai is that of supreme love for Krishna and her songs, that how people remember her. And maybe there is truth in that. But her story is also the story of how a women in India literally had to become saints in order to be not burned alive.

The problem u have is that u re affected by the christian methodology of thinking and talking, we dont mean in our languague so the listener can imagine or devellop a point of view, we talk straight and rite cause the truth cant be changed

When Allah Give us Al-Quran, what for we need a song to hear... TIME is something that you CAN'T BUY. Time is to short. We teach to use time efficient, since wake up till time to sleep. Wake up at 3 or 4 in the morning to take pray tahajud, continue with pray subuh at 5, than prepare for breakfast or for school or for work. At 9 in the morning we continue with pray duha. Alhamdulillah live in Indonesia make us easy to practice Islam. And then continue to work, then in the afternoon pray dhuhur, lunch, etc, at 3 afternoon we pray ashar then magrib, and then isya... In between working or do another activity we Can do zikir. Wife, prepare food for kid and husband is charity, husband help wife also charity. Read, understand and practising Qur'an everyday is like a mandatory... Use time efficiently. Life is so beautiful, Everyday in Muslim life is full of charity...

I respect every religion. this song is so beautiful. i am a Muslim but i like this song. because it's all talking about the creater. our Prophet Muhammad(Pbuh) told that God sent 124000 prophets to our World. the all had that one same message. "God is one and worship only God and believe all his Angels and Prophets and the last Day". maybe God sent also a prophet to the old earlier ancient people called "Hinduism". and revealed a book in Hindi for them. but later it was changed. because before from Prophet Noah(Pbuh) those people were worshipping idols and stones and trees and Cow etc. and thus the book became Men made. and they puts idolatry. if you reads the Hinduism there are still alots of verses which are preserved and talking about Monothesim. (Worshipping only one God). and maybe this song is the True verses from God. that's why it's very good to hear this.
