Welcome to the West Village, where designer and professional stager Cheryl Eisen takes us on a tour of a historic brownstone townhouse with a modern flair at 75 Bedford Street. This New York City home (built in 1901) boasts 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, 4 wood-burning fireplaces, Havabasa limestone floors, 18-ft ceilings, an abundance of natural light, and floor-to-ceiling French Doors on the first and second floor that open into a private backyard. Enjoy the natural light that pours in through the massive windows, while taking a glance through them to see the wondrous garden and viewing all that the area has to offer. Mix this with a private home theater, a magnificent bedroom, and a bathroom that incorporates the relaxation of a spa, and you’ve got yourself a one-of-a-kind home!

What has less life? This brownstone or the presenter?

So sick of seeing these beautiful brown stones being ripped apart, ripped out and then the sterile, white woke bleak boring interior decorating, and then having all these architects and design as path themselves on the back, saying how beautiful everything is not! I lead the same comments on every single Episode because many people do not think the sterile way of decorating and ripping out everything that makes it charming and historical makes for a beautiful apartment I wouldn’t give you two dollars for it

Bland, Boring and Generic, the true heart of a brownstone has be removed, hardly or no original features left. A facade but lacks any heart.
