Обалдеть. Во-первых - фантастическая выдержка. Суметь исключительно словами удержать двух здоровых сильных хищников от драки за территорию и спокойно разрулить ситуацию! Это круто 👍 Во-вторых - Масян. Потрясающе воспитанный умничка. Па авторитет, сказал «спокойно, сидеть» и всё - горный лев сидит и только наблюдает за покусительницей. В-третьих Герда. Которая отплатила той же монетой и не развивая конфликт спокойно пошла домой.
This is the first time I have ever heard Messi sound like a puma in the wild. I think he did very well even though he seemed a bit upset. He still listened to his dad's commands.
He's use to being the big dog(well cat) and Gerda was simply putting her paw down that this was her space and he was invading it. Luckily both Messi didn't get aggressive and neither did Gerda otherwise fur would have definitely flown, she merely gave warning swats to warn and drive him off. And most animals rarely kill in instances like this, there would have been some clawing and biting before they separated
Getting between 2 wild large cats is either brave or pretty stupid. These animals are not domestic dogs. They don't obey commands out of loyalty. I'm sure they genuinely love their keepers, but they are not like dogs.
These two people are keeping two untamable wild animals in quite small enclosures for attention on social media. This is some of the most irresponsible behavior I’ve seen, and they don’t seem to really know what they’re doing. One of these four creatures is going to get badly hurt, and it’ll be the humans’ fault.
I never heard messi roar like that...I have heard him hiss, but never roar! It's funny.....but I think sooner or later, your gonna have to let them be next to each other, in an open space, and let them come to terms with each other on their own.. They will be fine... It might get a little rough, but that will pass, and they will be friends... It's just something that you have to let happen... Between them too...it will be ok

@@marleyex2695 yep, we never heard that real loud cougar roar before because Messi has never had to use it before. He was in fight or flight mode, but he only used it defensively after she advanced on him.

Well, Messi also went to a dog obedience school. I think that helped. They pretty much also raised him. That was risky, though. Messi was uncomfortable with the cheetah.

Да боюсь там намёк был не на погоняться 😊. Могло и в драку вылиться. Это вообще очень важный момент, момент истины. Что возьмёт вверх, инстинкты Хищников, или воля Человека? Воля Человека взяла вверх и это очень важный момент в этом опыте. Человек для них должен стать главным, причём они сами должны понять это, без принуждения, угроз и уговоров. И по моему они это поняли, потому что послушались. Может Природа и не дала им высокоразвитого интеллекта, но она дала им нас, людей. Мы должны быть им друзьями и помощниками по жизни, как старшие братья. И подводить нашу общую матушку Природу лучше не рисковать, она хоть и добрая, но очень суровая. По два раза повторять не будет, сказано помогайте животным и заботьтесь о них, значит надо маму слушаться 😊. Не нам с ней спорить, в ярости она очень страшна.

Neither of them has any aggression, especially Messi. I was pretty scared when he first ran into the aviary, but all they did was put on a bit of a show. Gerda was defending her territory and Messi just told her to back off. There's no way this should have been expected to work out so well but it did, and I give all the credit to Masha and Sasha and their endless love and patience with these wonderful cats. They have so much trust for their parents that they put aside their instincts and behaved!
Gerda will be very happy to have a stroll around the garden every day on her own. She has wanted to get her toes on that grass for ages and watching Messi out there she knew it's for walking and playing she is so good she has learned from watching Messi what the garden is for. and yet these animals are not house cats and no where close to being domesticated. If these two go at it (fighting) a lot of serious damage will occur. People need to stop comparing to wild large cats to house cats.
Sorta here and there. Both cats are amicable but territory and getting along takes time with felines. Messi being in gerda's home was the problem. In the yard, things are more neutral.
@@ricks.1092 They might not be house cats but they are nowhere close to being a wild animal. Both Messi and Gerda were bred in captivity, they weren't born in the wild, they never been in the wild. I'm not sure about Messi but Gerda comes from a breeding farm in Tanzania, which makes it very likely that Gerda is several generations removed from a wild animal. I'm pretty sure this is also the case with Messi. Chances are a lot of the house cats or even some species of dogs are closer to being "wild" than both Messi & Gerda. And yes, if both go out in a full war against each other there will be injuries but that will also be the case when your average Fifi and Max go into a full blown war, they don't differ much about that compared to pure domesticated animals.

I was watching this live on my tele, nearly fell off the sofa!! You handled it excellent, kept calm but showed your dominance. Just showed how messi listens to you and all the training has payed off. Despite the minor scuffle between them I think this interaction showed great promise. Gerda was just being territorial over her enclosure and Messi only gave a defensive warning to back off and obeyed Sasha when he seperated them. I think maybe supervised time in the garden together would be possible as a next step.

agreed, It didn't seem Gerda was too bothered. She seemed more to be just very curious with Messi and batting him a little like she does with the ball. She seemed more playful than anything. but she got to close to Messi and wouldn't leave him alone kkkkkkk Messi didn't like that. too much too soon with him kkkkkk I had the impression that if they left the two cats alone in the garden, they would have been fine together being in a more open space.

@@dorfsteen I think they need to move that bench away from the fence. She might be able to jump over the fence from the bench. The bench would be nicer in the large lawn area anyway.
It went well considering one was trying to play and the other was keeping to itself. The behavior is no different from introducing house cats to one another. Gerda exploring the backyard was a nice change of pace and I hope they let her out more often to do so. They may need to safe proof the top of that fence though. In all honesty though, Gerda is still a Cheetah and she needs to run. Hopefully they can find some type of enclosed property with plenty of field space for her to cut loose.

@@perennialistperspective Hmmm i think if they decided to fight each other thiugh it wouldn't end well for either of them. Gerda may have speed, but Messi has strength but more than anything. They will fight thats for sure, all animals do, but these two types of cats were not meant to share the same habitat. I do fear for both of their safety. I just don't understand why they decided to get another cat, but than to get a different species on top of that is just not smart, especially if you know the background of both these species. You may be able to take the cat out of the wild, but you will never take the wild out of the cat, and its really disrespectful to even try.

Wow, just wow. The minute Messi wandered into Gerda’s enclosure I almost had a heart attack. I just held my breath without realizing it. So unexpected. It actually went better than I thought it would. I was so surprised. Gerda was very good about letting him into her space. She seemed to like going out of her enclosure too. And like any woman she had the last word. So congratulations to everyone.
Aww they look so cute together. Gerda is sticking near to daddy and Messi just went straight exploring his sister's enclosure while Gerda's getting annoyed her territory is being invaded lol. I'm happy seeing them getting used to each other.

He seems to trust him completely, you can see the progression since they started the channel. He knows his dad is always looking out for him, it's very special to see.

I love Gerda's behavior, acting like a loving and sharing sister to Messi. But I had the feeling, that having them be together on the same territory, will cause a fight. I think-The aviary should be, Gerda's territory only, when you guys inside- Messi shouldn't be there. When you guys at home- Gerda shouldn't be there, because the house is Messi's territory. Outside could be area for both cats, to play and have fun. One of my favorite videos on the channel, my love to all of you, and I'm glad it didn't escalate too much.

Смотрелосьв прямом эфире, конечно, экстремально немного - почище некоторых боевиков)) Но, главное. все в порядке =) И Герда и Мессии молодцы, и Ма с Па тоже)
Для первого раза это шикарный контакт. Главное - худо бедно они подчинились Александру, гораздо хуже было бы, если бы инстинкты в них взяли вверх, над волей человека. Так что первый блин хоть и кривоват, но не комом вышел. Дальнейшие встречи постепенно будут доброжелательнее и возможно, они даже начнут играться друг с другом. Пока же их нужно научить друг друга терпеть. Это трудно, но думаю вполне возможно. Жаль они не с детства вместе, было бы проще. Котята быстрее сходятся и когда растут привыкают друг к другу. Так могут дружить даже абсолютно разные животные, если росли вместе (в одном видео показывали дружбу козла с тигром 😊 . Две противоположности, но для тигра он был практически лучшим другом). В общем первый камень в фундамент дружбы заложен, будем ждать развития отношений.

Amazing, Sasha is a true big cat whisperer. He and Masha are both so tuned on to their cats and behavior, I know that their minds were going miles a minute but they were In complete control.
