The year my parents met in New Ross. It really was a bustling place back then , and prosperous (even if it doesn't look it ) my dad worked in that factory shown at the end , my mam used to run down those steep steps shown at the start of the video to meet my dad . Both often talked about the day JFk came to Ross and the excitement of it all. Thanks for sharing this !
Only 110 years between Patrick Kennedy departing New Ross and his grandson being elected president of the USA. For decades, New Ross was a place we sat in frustration in traffic jams. Now with the N25 bypass it's a place to be explored and enjoyed (when the days get longer and warmer).
