Henri IV was king of France from 1588-1610, not the 12th century. That’s a statue of him on Pont Neuf and the little park you entered off Pont Neuf is Place Dauphine, built by Henri IV as was Place des Vosges

CORRECT. I was confused for a minute until I googled it. My ancestor was knighted under Good King Henry and that was in the late 1500's.

Very nice video. My ancestors were Hugenots who were nobility from southern France. They fled during the time of Louis XIV when he was imprisoning, killing them and burning their chateaus.. they fled to what is now NY. Subscribed. Thanks again.. interesting!
