I still remember the day that saves first were added into the game. I'm pretty sure that was the first Paralogue where I couldn't just throw my units at the AI and win.
I see Kronya I click Still weird that Dragons have their own Distant Counter seal. I hope Beasts get their own and even more Beast exclusive skills because they also deserve some nice things for being neglected for so long.
Really hope we get a sacred seal for beasts to auto transform. Even with no other effects like the Beast B skills, just being able to always be transformed is amazing, especially for infantry beasts.
@peachesaupear8455 I hope it's not just transformation but comes with extra affects, non-modern beasts are in an awkward spot with beast exclusive skills and skill exclusions
@@ArilinityA seal that has more than just transformation would make Embla, Fomortiis and Elm's skill inheritance not unique at all and sell less. That would be too strong for a seal, just transformation on it is enough.
@tsukimilo that's the main issue. The already strong beasts that are modern or have prominent exclusives will benefit more then others that are stronger than already previous beasts that have worse prfs, or are outdated. So, the lack of exclusives skills for beast onlys are already bad enough. So atleast get more meat out of your buck with the transformation

Not in the Halloween banner, thankfully. Buuuuuut unfortunately there’s still the Ninja banner and Christmas. I’ll be gobsmacked if we go a year without a new Edelgard alt. Maybe finally we’ll have a break in A Hero Rises.
Nerfs in this game are odd, in the sense they never nerf individual units outright, they just try to sell you units or skills that are effective against those problem units. But because of that approach, the unit is only ‘nerfed’ depending on how common the ‘counter’ becomes. Like, if you don’t have a unit with Canto control, it’ll feel like canto was never nerfed. Until we get warp bubble on more units, warping and Guidance are still going to dominate, so on and etc.
I think Savior is the single most influential skill. Now your nukes and Galeforcers have a benchmark that they have to reach rather than just running over whatever unit can't counter them and leaving the armors for last. I think a skill that is so good that it getting a Tier 4 version is bad for the game (Arena would be infested with saviors) is proof that said skill is absolutely insane.
One skill I feel like is gonna come soon are Dull Ranged and Close 4. Especially in the light of Primes, having bonus neutralization can cancel out a lot more effects from skills and prfs than you’d expect.
I really like how damage reduction got out of hand first it was innocent with aegis/pavise then it was like going back in time and giving cavemen firearms what does deep star even mean
Shoutout to Hardy Bearing for being the most timeless sacred seal in the entire game. I still have NO idea how someone once told me "the thing is that hardy bearing is like, the worst seal in the game" when it hard counters so many things that otherwise would dominate your team. This was right after Ninja Camilla came out, too. One of the stronger "unit can counterattack before foe's attack" units due to brave tome, Seal Res 4, and otherwise a very minmaxed statline. Now we have Desperation 4 and Flow Desperation and Aerial Maneuvers. Their argument was something along the line of "why use a seal that only has use countering like 2 specific builds when you can get something that makes all your combats better" and to that I say, have fun when that +6 Atk/Spd does nothing to help you fight vantage sweeps and desperation and such. Effects will always be better than stats in a vacuum, the best units have the most effects and usually some of those effects give more stats (Rally Spectrum, Bonus Doubler, Grand Strategy, etc).
Hardy Bearing is underrated. Not only it shuts down Vantage, but it also shuts down Desperation effects, which is a big deal nowadays with Veronica and lots of desperation skills, but was also a check for B! Ike back in the day, shutting down his DR by disabling his forced desperation.
what really power crept traps in ar was that units get more bst. i haven't seen disarm trap for over a year but now for a few month i see people constantly just ignore traps because units hp get over the thresholds without any investment. bolt trap is the one that has no hp requirement but then you have a bolt trap which is also bad if you ever upgraded it because damaging foes is really bad especialy with wom 4 being now at 60%

Tbh I think it's interesting watching this because in my years of playing FEH (since start!), I rarely care about SI since meta is always changing, sometimes it is speed, sometimes it is bulk, and sometimes it is atk/special...But still, this was a fun vid to watch, thank you for the recount www~

This game seriously needs a reset. Any effect that breaks the game's own rules needs to removed. No more guaranteed follow-ups, no follow-up prevention, no damage reduction, no saves, no warping.
