This was very interesting. I think the biggest take-away for me is to have more body awareness--to notice what isn't feeling right and explore ways to change that. And from both you and Austin, to be relaxed. It's so easy to have tension creep in when I'm working on something that's difficult for me.
What a great interview! I got so much out of it, it's difficult to pinpoint just one area. My greatest take-away I think is to take breaks while practicing. I tend to just go at it in one sitting, which can be very tiring. Also, I do sit a lot. I'm going to incorporate the hip hinge exercise. I'm going to also incorporate meditation daily to ease the stress of life and build up more confidence in my playing.
