Honda's roots are in motorcycle and Formula One racing with extreme success in both motorsport areas. From this point of view, the Honda name has lots of credibility to actual car enthusiasts.

This car gets SO much hate. Always loved it. Definitely one of the most underrated cars out there. Remember a 911 Turbo has a 6cyl too…

This is a awesome video.When Ford after merging with the American LeMans series. They went to Chip Ginaassi Racing to race the Ford GT. They left Mike Shank Racing in limbo. So they went to Honda. And wham!!! Everything changed. So Mike and his friend Mr Meyer went to France. Got a Liger shoved the same engine. As the NSX. And Honda/Acura took all that research. And brought out the New Generation NSX. And she enjoyed the rain. I mean she was going. And almost won her class. In the 24 hours of Daytona. Then 3 years later back to back championships. In Grand Touring Daytona. And the same team MSR won the last Daytona International Prototype Championship. And now they are in the hunt their second!!!!! In Grand Touring Protype!!!

I have a 2017 NSX, amazing how many waves I get from C8s. Then as I drive by I imagine them thinking. “That wasn’t a C8, what was it”. Kind of fun to fly under the radar.

Back in the day I had the opportunity to drive the first generation NSX (Honda in The Netherlands)...a day I still remember well. That v-tech engine was insane

Underrated

3 hybrid motors, not batteries, I own one and can't recall anyone getting a 2.5 sec 0-60. 10 cooling devices, they are not all radiators. It has cupholders, check the glove box. The V6 has a block and heads from Cosworth, is that exotic enough for you? Have you smiled more than this during a review?

Honda. Acura. They're under the same umbrella.

Autovlog Awesome Review I think its awesome that LW let you drive that Absolutely incredible Acura NSX and I think it's absolutey insane that it accelerates as quick as a Bugatti Chiron

Masterpiece of a car

This car in particular was NOT a $200k spec. It has no options and is closer to $160k. So for you to REPEATEDLY say it's a $200k car is very misleading and paints a very different picture when comparing to other brands as you are doing. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Must be a good daily because jay leno drives his to the store and to restaurants to pick up his take out 😂😂

if the newer gen NSX's reach near 110k, they are a steal

Have always loved these cars

Acura to Honda is really no different than Cadillac to Chevrolet, Lincoln to Ford, Lexus to Toyota, Audi to Volkswagen, etc.

Note: this is not your regular Acura v6, it is fully handbuilt!

One of the reasons I really like the NSX is because it's an Acura the odds of having a dealership in your city to provide service to your car is really good. This is also a great selling point that I heard many Audi R8 owners brag about as opposed to owning a Ferrari or Lambo because service departments are so few.

Underrated and often looked down upon

Have you heard of the Volkswagen Group? Some fancy cars in that family. Don’t know why a Acura being a Honda is frowned upon 🤷🏾‍♂

Have always liked these but honda was off balance when they brought this to market. Missed the mark with the interior and its options content. The muted sound is just ridiculous in the other modes. Not comparable, but one of the reasons Mustangs sell so well is their price and the visceral experience offered for that price. They have a great sound at any speed.

I think it looks really cool! That is a car that should last a long time, with regular servicing. I wonder how difficult it is to work on? Being a Honda, it is well engineered.

The reason why it’s hatted, is because it’s Japanese not German, Italian or American!!! It’s truly an underrated supercar. If it wasn’t a Japanese car, it would be praised!

Great review. A first gen with pop-up headlights with always be my favorite, but the 0-60 on the latest gen is super impressive.

The engine is found in the Odyssey mini van. Also the Ridgeline and Accord

The satisfying paddle clicks …rather go for a R8 at that price point, but it’s still a cool Honda

You said it has 3 batteries to help out with the power. You should have caught that error in editing. It has 3 electric motors to help out with the power. Sorry but it drives me nuts when someone does a review as a professional but makes clear mistakes.

I have trouble identifying these premium branded vehicles as it is still a Honda. It is similar to Lexus where most of the lower models just look like a Toyota. The only thing that makes these vehicles appear to be from a specialist brand is the NSX and the LC500 as they have nothing body wise that looks like their normal vehicles. I love the LC500 however the grill to me is a bit of a turn off and the Acura (Honda) looks very aggressive.

I think I saw a Jeep track Hawk. If that was what I saw at the dealership, can you review it?

The nsx is a icon. The old one is v6, this too so i don't see the problem only problem for me is the price. But porsche used v6 with turbo too so why complain about the engine🤦🏾. Ad the end of the day is reliable and that's matter.

Surprised none of the Japanese/Chinese companies haven’t made a type s front end conversion for these older nsx models, the front end on these pre face lifted cars aren’t the nicest imo

May not have the performance of a super car of that price but has that amazing reliability that won’t break down on you and cause you thousands of dollars in maintenance that’s the beauty in it

I think that a lot of people thought that the NSX was over priced, sat at dealerships, didn't make to many and consequently had to stop production. Just asking to much money & you could spend it elsewhere. My opinion...

Interior could be so much better

This car does not have 3 batteries, just 2. One under the frunk for regular car stuff and one hybrid battery behind the seat. What you were calling batteries are electric motors. There is a motor for each front wheel and one between the gas engine and the trans. Do a little research before your review. As for the interior, did you expect Acura to design all new interior parts for one car? Think what that would have done to the cost.
