I love how when you killed the madman and unintentionally Jack in the process, Jack’s corpse just continued having a chill convo with you. Jack is clearly an omnipotent being that will be the final boss of the real game now cause of this revelation.

These are some of the most abrupt situations I've seen in a horror game lol. Breaking into a house, DNA alteration and skill trees, Parasite boss fight, finding out you're daydreaming, madman "kidnapping" emma and tabino, Jack just... leaving and then you get a dog engraved with your name. Like it's BEEN 20 MINUTES. xD

This legit feels like a dream. Like when you dream and the plot goes from one incoherent thing to another

Manly calling himself a snake in the beginning of the video and then a few minutes later killing his best friend is great comedy.

What I've learned from this video was that Manly controls mosquitos.

This demo is wild. Rare to see a game where the protagonist and his ally clearly knows significantly more than the player and other side characters. Pretty ambitious systems here too, this dev obviously wants players to have a sense of control for what happens. I'm pretty interested to see just how much your choices can change things.

Jack: Are you scared Henry? ManlyBadAssHero: I can shoot mosquitoes! Made me giggle snort.

Manly with his power to shoot mosquitos has only 1 weakness, a can of raid.

Suddenly, in the middle of searching for clues: "Don't look for me, no matter what! I could explain but I'd rather be incredibly ambiguous in this situation!" Friend: "I should find him and get answers." Ah, yes. Good to see friends who deserve each other.

I've seen a lot of games and demoes you've played before but this is honestly the first game that got me really really intrigued, that and just how wild the story is within 20 min of gameplay.

If you could shoot mosquitoes you'd brag about it too. But I think manly's underselling himself, he can also control plants. *They're in a forest!*

Hmm, its a very interesting game. Considering the fact that its made by the same dev who made Dear Red, the 7 Mysteries and a ball game which he ended up deleting.

I like how Manly tries to kill the murderer with his magic tentacles, but the mosquitoes accidentally kill Jack in the process. And yet, Jack is still talking in his dialogue! 🤣🤣🤣

The harsh proof that mosquitos are the bane of everything on planet earth.

It took me until now to realize that Jack is wearing a shirt.

Imagine that being an icebreaker on a first date. "I control mosquitoes"

Manly's enthusiasm with the mosquitos is adorable

Someone really took Action RPG elements and made it into a horror game. Not saying it's "revolutionary", but I've not seen this really.

I personally know this game's dev and his passion really shows. Glad that it's receiving deserved recognition.

_The game's afoot_ I enjoyed the set up of the game as a mystery to be solved. There might be aliens or some virus from an asteroid OR the kids may be delusional. But I absolutely loved the mosquitos and really want to see what other other dna will be available. Very different and will look forward to you playing the full release and uncovering all the secrets.

If the full game comes out I wonder if you can combine with the save and respawn monsters to get infinite points until you're literally unstoppable. Then you can just go forward knowing no one will never be able to defeat you.

Been seeing a lot of upcoming games lately that claim to adapt and evolve based on your choices, past experiences left me disappointed, here's hoping this one delivers

Considering the first boss, it looks like the best weapons are the vines with mosquitoes and the bow. I don't know how would you deal with the enemies with a melee weapon.

Layers like in onions? Ya know how ogre's are like onions with the layers? Ooo how about parfaits? Everybody loves parfaits

manly always uploads very late for me, usually between 12 am to 3 am, it's the perfect timing because I work night shift til 2:30 and get a nice little treat when I'm home. always feels like a reward for getting through the day.

This was actually a pretty interesting game Can’t wait for the whole thing to come out

I really love seeing RPG maker games because ive been working on my horror RPG game using RPG maker for 7 years now. Im only one person working on it and thats why its taking forever. I always love to see what other indie devs implement in their RPG maker game. I can literally see the code and event calls as the game progresses. Its awesome lol. Maybe when i finish the demo, you can play iton your own time and give me some feedback on what you think? You dont have to upload it to your channel or anything. My game is gonna be comprosed of 3 short horror stories that all connect in some way. Ive already completed most of the first short story. I could produce a demo of just the first story within a few months if life doesnt get in the way lol. Thanks for the upload Manly ✨️✌️🤝

"Samomor" literally means "Self-plague" in my language which would be quite fitting

This game has a lot of character/depth for a demo, and I'm really excited to see hoe this one turns out (along with all the possible choices and layers)

The game feels like the next evolution stage something like Undertale would go through.

Still made in rpg maker. There are certain ui/windows/sounds that if you are familiar with rpg maker you would probably recognize it. Also the creator posted on the rpg maker subreddit.

I love manly's videos because of his humour and puns My Soul was empty until manly fill it with trash (obviously this is a compliment)

Play as the dog for a short while was fun. Hope to see a few more of that mechanic in the full game to come?

Between the random occurrences and the dog joining your team, I’m reminded of Death Road to Canada. Only that game is funnier.

I really like this demo! It seems to be an interesting story with nice characters. I like games like this! Though I just wish this demo revealed at least something about the story. So many things happen and they go without any answer or hint. Love me a good mystery, but I need something to grasp haha

Interesting mechanic with the skill tree, looking forward to the full release of this.

I've also managed to kill both the killer and Emma at the same time, with the knife (probably the hardest weapon). It'll default to the "do nothing" route by the looks of it... A little funny that the first decision involves people in close proximity and the given DNA ability is an AOE-type attack, or a seeking attack with the vines.

❓Hey could you please put demo in the title next time? I wouldn't have watched this video if i knew it was a demo! Too many devs dont understand how to use demos and release them months or even years before the game is out! I just cant handle getting invested into a story only to have to wait forever to find out what happens next! IF we ever find out what happens next. Same reason i refused to start the ASOIAF book series. And im glad i didnt read them, because they still haven't gotten the last books and its been over a decade. I just cannot emotionally handle the curiosity and not knowing! ❤
