I'm using MeMU - an Android emulator for Windows. I installed it, installed Wyze, logged in and now enjoy full screen HD multi-cam views on my PC, with sound. I love it. Oh, and it's free too! www.memuplay.com/
@@georgekershner6626 Exactly. I have one in my covered entry way and can point it at my door and driveway where a doorbell cam won't see my driveway. Doorbell cams are cool, but it's popular because most people can do those with no ladder, etc. I'll take this $25 Wyze over any door bell. And although I want weather proof, i'd prefer to have the firmware that will allow to upload your SD to a NAS to always have that backup incase one gets stolen!

You really do not need a door bell camera!. I have the WCO cameras and I can see who ever walks up to my door and,, I am notified by the camera's motion sensor. I can use the two way speech as well

They sold out to a major investor, they're Chinese that have the facade of being Western - specifically American and the AI they said they built, they didn't. They literally threw some of that new money they had just received at it and are doing this to rachet up competition against Arlo and Nest, both who have had AI from the start. They don't have heartwarming videos that're engineered to make you, the consumer feel as if you're part of a movement (it in itself is a calculated sales tactic), their users already expect these things. Is it good that they aren't coming out with a 3.0 that's the same except for the new AI? Yes, that is good because some companies charge for that sort of thing but Arlo for example, the oldest cameras they make get the latest AI updates for FREE.

Fantastic! I’m impressed with all of you people at Wyze and with the economical camera you developed which I bought to monitor an ailing husband. I have two cameras, and to think I can use this advanced feature on my existing devices makes me happy and excited. I have shared the update video on Twitter and hope other people will discover what this camera can do.

Today we bought our first cam. Four Wyze pan tilts and four external battery lights to eliminate the night mode as we want to mount cams looking out windows. We understand the led on cam creates reflections. Very impressed with your products. We will likely buy four more for sides of home later.
We use your cameras in our office/warehouse location and I was so impressed with the quality, i have purchased one for my front yard. We are moving out of a rented space and into a house we own, and I will be purchasing more. Your product is seriously impressive and the price is even better. I heard about WYZE Cam on the Q13 News tech trends news feature and was immediately impressed with the Cam V1 as shown at the time. I immediately got on to Amazon and found them there, so ordered the cameras in May or June of 2018. I showed the product quality to friends and they've jumped on the bandwagon as well. I'm also an early adopter of the WYZE Sense product as well as just recently receiving the WYZE Bulb (which I find immensely helpful as don't use Alexa or Google Home). Great products!
I'm a big Alexa user...not so proud of that, but it is what it is, eh? I'd love integration. I never get home at the same time so I'm always triggering my devices. I'd love to be able to use the Alexa Away Monitoring to arm and disarm the Wyze devices.

Although person detection might sounds good.... but the biggest drawback of wyze cam is the length of the cloud clips - 12 seconds is really useless..... I really don’t mind to pay few extra dollars for it if the follow can be fix/update - -increase the cloud clip to at least 1 mins -reduce notification delay from the current 15+ second to around “5” second like Ring.... Wyze, if you are listen, please look into those area....
Thank U, I'm glad someone said it. It's great that they are trailblazing the security cam market. Unfortunately, the cam has the slowest response time out of all the cams on the market. My Argus 2 has about a 2-3 second delay and that should be a benchmark to shoot for. All I'm saying is that a person can vandalize a whole lot of stuff in 15 + seconds. They should have fixed the delay issue 1st imho.
headbanger2g yeah, I know... it is one of the slowest notification on market..... although my nest hello does the same stupid thing... but that’s a different topic. All I wish they do is reduce the length from like 2 weeks to may be 1 week, increase the clip length to usable interval like a minute. Then I am sure more ppl will buy it.

Already done it with some accessories. Go to Amazon and look for Blink XT solar panel with built-in lithium battery. It will work with Wyze camera with a Micro USB adapter cable. There are several outdoor housings specifically for the Wyze V2 camera with under-eve mounting bracket. About $60 total for one outdoor camera setup.

Use a solar charged power bank to power it. I did a test with a standard 6.6Ah power bank and it powered a pan/tilt wyze camera for 13 hours, so a solar panel that can put out an average 500 mA output to charge the power bank should keep the camera running non-stop. During the summer, a 6 watt panel would probably cover it. During winter, it would probably need a 20 watt panel.
Our family is so very THANKFUL for our WYZE CAMS -- one night last week another 1 a.m. alert showed our motion activated light turned on yet again. (Often these alerts turn out to be a cat climbing a fence in the dark, bats swooping past or a possum with little ones riding on the mother's back). However, the only movement shown turned out to be a shadow of a someone pointing at something (the person was just out of sight of our camera view but the security light displayed their shadow picked up by the WYZE cam). This morning while reviewing last night's alerts, we discovered footage of a person with a flashlight skulking about our backyard gardens... I would rather have too many alerts than have missed these. Thank you again, WYZE, and your Customer Support Employees for all their help and answers to our questions and concerns!
Mines not telling me when a person comes through. I’ve change the settings updated the firmware and camera. It notified me the first time but now it’s not notifying me anymore. I walked through the door and it doesn’t even say anything. I went back to including the motion rather get false than not get notified at all. Person detection Would be great if I could rely on it. I still really love the cam it’s great for the price.
Update: my person detection started working today! I’ve been sending feedback when I see someone and when I don’t and I think it gets it now. I will update if anything changes
I tried explaining to ADT that their outdoor cam I currently have is garbage compared to a wyze cam. They sent me two replacement cameras and they still cant compare. This is for a company that is built for home security! Bravo to you WYZE team!! You have a life long customer.

He said free, as in free forever, part of the basic features on the device. What he did is a slick way of planting the seed that wyze will have additional features for a cost in the future. Sets up expectation so fewer folks are upset and giving low reviews thinking they've been bait and switched. Give you a nice functionality improvement present today and let you know other stuff that is coming is gonna cost you more than $20.
I love this company. I love companies that explain their journey and the different steps to get there. I have five Wyze Cams and the sensors. Now, if you guys can integrate a loud alarm system...this would be the perfect package. I'm pulling for your company to succeed.
The YI home camera 2 has person detection on the camera itself as well. No need for cloud. I had mine for the last 3 years. Congrats but this is nothing new. Also the Yi Camras notifications are instant without delay.
I don't think people understand how much work wyze has worked to give us a amazing products ...my family likes to say thank you for your hard work we have made our house a complete smart home with wyze keep up the excellent work 👍
So glad I initially went with Wyze to help watch my elderly parents remotely. Cant wait to try the person detection, for previously I've received notifications for lights being turned on or sun glare. Another great job Wyze !!!! Keep em coming...

I'm trusting this product to be the official baby monitor device when my baby gets here in 3 months. I love the quality, connectivity and must-have features for baby monitoring, like night mode and dual sound. I ONLY care about RTSP! Make that part of your stock firmware for the love of God!!! ..and I get why you can't 'squeeze' it into the full featured firmware. How about 2 options in the Android app where I can choose between the 2; rather than have to take down all of my outside Wyzecams, and manually flash on a SD card...ugg!

I have a brand new Wyze Cam and use the person detection add on and love it! I am beyond thrilled with my camera! I live in an apartment building and have steel doorframes. It just sticks right on and I can ask Alexa on my Firestick to "show me front door' and I can see all the way door the hallway onto the street! Unbelievable!!!! Thank you all so much for providing such a marvelous device at an incredible price!!!!

I would like the ability to locate just the alert activity on continuous recordings. Also more fine control when scrubbing over the timeline - especially on a small screen iPhone. I bought 3 of the $20 cameras and one pan version. Totally happy and plan to buy more, plus the bulbs and the sensors. Hope the company stays true to their vision.

I'm in South Africa, got me some Wyze Cams and sensors. Superb work guys. One thing I hope you guys will add on later, are some sensors, camera for outdoor use without the need for housing case. So ip68 weatherproof stuff

I have a Wyze home security camera and it is truly the best camera that I ever had. The picture is crystal clear and the camera works every time. Last month I visited Vietnam with my family and I relied on Wyze camera to keep an eye on our dog. I also have Amazon Blink security cameras installed outside the house. Whenever I'd open the Blink app with slow Internet connection they would fail to show the view but Wyze camera worked every time even when the WiFi was LTE or 3G. I really love this tiny little Wyze camera. It is awesome. But now this AI person detect feature specially that it is backward compatible with previouse Wyze cameras and it is FREE, is just truly awesome. What this feature would do is that only when it sees a human in the camera's view it would send a notification otherwise it will silently keep an eye on your house and property. This feature should leave all other cameras in the dust. Wyze cameras are so inexpensive that I plan to buy many more and the built quality is great and the design is well thought out. The first time set-up did have a minor issue that I had to call customer service. But the customer service was very helpful and resolved the issue right away. I wish that Wyze would start making full home security system and I'll stand in line to buy it. To the Wyze team; You guys rock!
Person detection is great. I had my notifications turned off until it update. I have and Apple Watch to go with my iphone. I buy them used due to high price. I got a ding on my watch and saw someone walking up my driveway and I didn’t have to do anything to get the screen shot to show up on my watch. It was just there after I updated to person detection. Keep up the good work. I will be buying more in the future.

I originally bought this camera to test out what a security camera would be like without the big investment and without hardwiring and all the questions and preferences that come along with them. These little cameras are amazing, they are wonderful for the money and I have one In front and one in my middle yard and I tried way in the back and I still get a signal . Even looking at the door cams , . I love these cameras they are excellent for the money. 👍 and they have been doing really well outdoors. I haven’t had any problems.

Only had this cam for a week and its AI person detection is pretty impressive. I wouldn't be surprised if this was unofficially running pied piper software under the hood !

Not only am I a fan of your cameras (I have several and use them for dog monitoring while I’m at work and instead of a doorbell camera along with a camera focused on the fridge with alerts that come after 8:30pm so I remind myself not to eat), but a video that includes Seinfeld... I own three PanCams at this point. I also own Nest (3) and Blink XT (2) cameras. Each serves purposes, however, I do not believe I will be renewing my Nest Aware subscription next year. Thank you guys for all you are doing. If I actually have your eyes at the moment, a battery operated "event driven" camera version would be welcome. Love you guys and love your products.

Would be great to be able to select or deselect the area of motion detection. Would help with false alerts, like trees blowing in the wind.... As far as AI, kind of buggy so far. Its hit and miss whether it detects a person. Would definitely like to see vehicle integration in the future
Got a Wyze Cam Pan a couple months ago and am very impressed with the quality of the image, panning, etc. My only complaint is that the Wi-Fi is weak. In my music studio I tried setting it up just eight feet from the Airport Extreme and it wouldn't authenticate. It just seems very touchy about location.
