@@miigon9117 i'm not even sure if this is serious or not my man it is there literally -written- TYPED for you you can literally copy paste either way i think that is part of the joke but i can relate 💀
@@solidpandacka5544 ah i am actually so sorry to ruin the mood ;w; i am surrounded by teens who are bad at english and who have the most questionable morals so they're actually like that 💀
fore I begin my actual comment, I would like to apologize in advance for my inadequate level of English proficiency. I am not a native speaker of the world's current lingua franca which unfortunately leads to me making numerous embarrassing mistakes being made whenever I attempt to communicate using this language. Whenever I am reminded of how I lack the ability to convey my thoughts in an eloquent manner, I feel as though I have committed a cardinal sin, as though every English teacher in the world is simultaneously shaking their head and sighing due to how utterly disappointed they are at me. Although I know that saying sorry to those of you who are reading my comment will not change the fact that I fail miserably to write and speak perfect English, I am writing this as a way to deter a certain type of people who cannot stand poor English (Also known informally as Grammar Nazis) from mocking me by posting unwanted and unnecessary comments detailing my every blunder. In my humble opinion, making grammatical errors should be perfectly acceptable as native speakers should not expect non-native speakers to be able to communicate in their second or third languages eloquently. If you are able to completely understand what the other person wrote, is there really a problem with what they've written? No, because the entire concept of communication is the exchange of information between other intelligent beings, which means that no matter how the exchange of information is made, as long as the information is accurately shared there is not a fundamental issue with their ability to communicate. To see it in another way, remember that someone who isn't fluent in English is fluent in another language. When you think about it this way, isn't it impressive for someone to speak a second language in any capacity? Having empathy and respect are qualities that are sorely missing for far too many people these days, especially on the internet. That being said, I am aware that not all netizens who correct others are doing it to ridicule and shame. There are some who do so with the intent to help others improve and grow. However, displaying the failures of other people publicly will cause the person who is criticized to feel negative emotions such as shame and sadness due to the fact that their mistake has been made obvious which severely undermines the point they were trying to make in spite of their unfamiliarity with the English language. In most circumstances people are not looking for language help when they post anything online. Most people just want to enjoy themselves and have a good time on the internet which is why I would not encourage correcting other people regardless of your intentions. If you really do want to help others with their spelling or grammar, I would highly recommend you to help via messaging privately because not only will you not embarrass anyone, you can also go more in-depth with your explanation which I'm sure the other person will greatly appreciate if they want help, but I digress. I know that I've written a bit of an essay, but I hope I've made my points clear. Anyways, here is the comment I wanted to make: c*ck.
@@marinacorvi854 one day youll find yourself. and you wont be bound to the shackles of perception and intellect. you will one day be happy my friend. dont give up
I like how his part isn’t exactly on the song like he’s completely copying it but he’s adding parts to it that make it sound much much better than the already great song is.
@@chronoshindou9848 nah there’s a difference between being humble and putting yourself down for attention. This guy is humble but there are some that are attention-seeking
@@devilstat1498 tell me, even if you could be an expert singer or artist whatsoever, will you explicitly mention "a nice attempt" in your title or would you rather say humble attempt? Which sounds better?
@@devilstat1498 well artists learn more about art through studying and practice just as a doctor learns more about practical medicine or how an engineer learns more about engineering. an artist telling themselves they arent good is usually just because they typically know more about art than people who arent artists and acknowledge how much they have to learn. at least thats how i see it as an artist. the problem is when they let that demotivate themselves, you never want to halt your progress by telling yourself you arent good enough. i think art is just a very common skill for kids to learn or showcase in school, plus everyone has tried, so i think thats where the good artist saying hes bad comes from also hope that didnt come across as rude or aggressive lol just sharing my thoughts cause im bored and procrastinating
Same with any instrument, when you think about it... smacking metal, blowing into tubes, pulling on strings, or even hitting said strings with a hammer. Music is just the result of some stupid, fidgety experiment some humans did long ago that sounded pleasant to the ear, so we kept doing it. Boredom does incredible things. lol
@@TheCvlt how are you taking the high and mighty road here. This is the most mundane comment I’ve ever written and somehow you still found a way to make an ass out of yourself through it. Your opinion is valueless and your input was unnecessary.
Are we just going to ignore the way he jammed out at 2:55? Best aria math version ive heard, I love hearing people jam and just going with the flow. really amazing, together with the nostalgia of playing singleplayer when this absolute piece comes on
This was no "attempt". This embodied the nostalgia and creativity that MAKES the Minecraft community. Nothing but a full-blown masterpiece in it's own right.
he added noise suppression so the mic would sound more high quality like literally everyone who has a fan or indoor cooling/heating or just anything that makes a slight noise.
This just made me redownload Minecraft. I turned 23 this past year and first played it back in 2008-9. I feel it’s something that transcends life but the memories are all but gone.
Your _humble attempt_ just made the song feel much more real, giving it a sense of volume I know I'm late, but I think you'd like to try out C418's *Dreiton* from the same album. That song was made for handpan players like you. I'd love to hear your cover of it!
4:23 man...when he hit that high note...i felt that beyond the comprehension of existence, at the moment of hearing him hit that i ascended to a higher frequency realm and reflected on my whole physical experience as a human
I honestly can’t tell if the original music is also playing in the background because this man is so good that my jaw actually dropped. I haven’t done that in response to music before as far as I know. Masterpiece.
@@madhujith I really like this effect. It feels something akin to playing the game multiplayer with only 1 close friend. All the wonder of your world amplified by another unique perspective. Aria Math; Minecraft, But now you aren't playing alone.
The first block you placed The first house you made The first cave you mined The first nether you made The first end you saved The first dog you tamed The first diamonds you mined The first villager trade The first world you made Is all there, somewhere "A Message to all Future Generations" Nostalgia 😥😥
@@Bessux leave bessux alone, we all have days where we are angry and frustrated, the internet is just a safe place to vent it, i do also agree, false modesty can get toxic when it's expected
Honestly I agree… I thought at first it was one of those sound edits. Like.. playing audio over other volume, so the song cuts in and out randomly. But it was just the mic. I’m glad I was wrong
@@HausOfBlaire its on the name, captures sounds coming from the left and assigns it to the left channel, and like wise with right, basically makes it stereo instead of mono.
The little high tones you added really fit well. Also the slightly offbeat parts blended in so well. Sounds like something you’d call the Aria Math extended mix. Beautiful man
People keep saying the mic could be better, but honestly the low fidelity adds to the character of the video and the experience overall. It feels like a distant friend is jamming out with me over a discord call late at night. To me that is magical. Thank you.
Miss those late night skype group calls with international friends... So many great memories, always laughing. Adulting with a full time job hits hard.
This gives me nostalgia of when I used to play minecraft with my mum on our old Xbox360 and we used to see all these forests and stuff... and when we used to go caving together... gosh, those were the times. Brilliant!
Stuff like this is literally why I want a hand pan. Man, I have returned to this so many times. It's just one of those videos. It's one of the things that gets my soul excited and draws out a burning desire to create. If I could make something that gives people even half of this feeling I have right now, I will be satisfied.
What a lovely motivation to have, i think i want that too.. so in some way you have already done what you aspired to! you have inspired me with this comment ^^
this is an amazing aspiration and sentiment. im goin thru some stuff but the beauty of this performance and the comments make me feel like everything’s gonna be alright. i hope you’re doin well!!
The handpan is quite an interesting instrument. Someone who's never seen it before can make some pretty nice sounding songs on their first try, but experts can elevate it to a whole new plane of existence.
@Banni Damn, percussion in general is just expensive. That's why drummers are getting replaced by computers all the time. It's also pretty hard to mic up, record, and mix live drums well, at least compared to triggering samples, of course. It's also just not very accessible for the bedroom producer.
@Banni It's actually $1500-$2500 for legit handpans and not the poor quality chinese ones from Amazon. The $500 ones go out of tune very quickly and for handpans that means complex hammering of the metal, which when done incorrectly can ruin your drum.
(Squints eyes). Old game music? Oh no.... (Looks at calender). If this is considered old.... and I don't think it is... oh god honey! IM GETTING TO OLD. MINECRAFT MUSIC IS CONSIDERED OLD NOW.
i thought this was made in like 2015-ish. take it as a compliment, i miss the old internet vibe. no plug for merch, no cta to subscribe. just a simple dude sharing good music on the internet :D i hope you will keep making music in the future with your handpans :) God bless you, stay healthy out there! :D
Plugged in my 360 after 8 years, started up minecraft, i checked my friends list but my old minecraft friend group hasnt been on for about 10 years. This brings me back to us building huge structures and what not. Man this is pure nostalgia
I remember first finding this video and not really enjoying it because I was really just looking for a cover that explored the main melody of the song, in a way, but now that I have taken a bit of a deeper interest in the handpan, I can say that your play-along is really great! It explores more colours in Aria Math and has great texture, great job! ^^
This is absolutely astounding!! Its such an easy harmonization but it goes so fantastically with the original song and adds such a beautiful depth to it! Fantastic work! I wiwh you well in life ❤️
You can tell how he loses himself in the music near the end brings himself back to reality just to deliver this masterpiece and DAMN did it bring a tear to my eye. WOW good job. And keep it up! I'm sharing this to all my friends
This rendition of Aria Math sounds absolutely phenomenal. I already love the song and this makes me love it even more. If this was your humble attempt then you’ll shatter the universe with a proper one
This brings me back. My brothers and I had a spleef world we used to play in. We also did this thing where we would flood one side with zombie pig men, then agro one and try and survive the onslaught. Those were the days. God I miss that.
not the same guy but that video did pop up in my side feed from this video! speak of coincidence! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-e4i4SI6ex5Q.html
I love the fill he begins to play at around 2:09, it gives me the chills. Something about this song feels like such an engrained, deep part of me. It's like putting a song to the overwhelming feeling I have no words for. Beautiful job :)
@@r4violii probably similar to how drummers do with cymbals. You hit it light and fast at first then progressively hit it harder and less frequently. Though im not a drummer
@@r4violii Because some of it is not played by him, some of it is in the recorded form in the background - orchestra, ambient music and metal string instruments.
That is REALLY melodic. I heard the melody before anything else, and I wasn't even sure what I was hearing. But the melody you're playing is so insanely good. This is bloody haunting.
THIS is by far literally godly. As an everyday aria math enjoyer, I think this can compete with the original like maaan it's literally what I am used to but better
I only have to listen to a minute to know this is the best ever handpan video ive ever seen im not kidding either the guy in the woods who streams on TikTok has nothing on this.
2:42 - 3:20 that kind of arc in a solo is seriously difficult to pull off! I was like, uhhh, he hasn't hit that one note yet, has to be coming... but he took it back down to zero (prior to this timestamp) and built it right back up, very quickly to 100, ///and held it at 100 on that one note///. (That's so hard to do... I can't tell you how many dozens of times I've heard a solo where someone tries to do that and it just turns into wanking.) And then you gotta bring it back down somehow, and he does that perfectly too. Around 3:20 he cracks a half smile, starts to groove, knows he is totally killing
No, I miss what my mind could think up, I have tainted and tarnished my mind with drugs that have since hindered the part of my mind I used to call my own
@ToughestHentaiMaster Sheesh I'm sorry to hear that. What kind of drugs have done this to you? I actually think the opposite thing happens to me when I smoke weed. I get real creative and can sink into my thoughts for a whole hour if I really wanted to after I smoke. I'm assuming the drugs you're referencing isn't weed though?
@ToughestHentaiMaster How can your mind be so tainted and tarnished using only weed and a little bit of alcohol? Did you smoke weed everyday or something?
Bet if this was recorded with good quality mics it’d sound like heaven. Amazing playing and you definitely added your own artistic intuitions throughout the piece!
Minecraft tunes are usually so minimalist on their own... I really enjoyed the additional layer of part-groove, part-solo. The way you took a basic idea and gradually morphed it to extend up the range of the instrument over time... I was just going to put this on in the background, but I ended up riveted for the whole performance.
Wow! I'm speechless. This may just be a humble attempt, but this really is the best rendition I've ever heard of the song. Beautiful instrument, fantastic playing!
