Yes sir, as a kid l remember at Indy at the time trials in early May and A.J. was really mad as one of his guys removed his air cleaner to try to run a faster lap time. A.J. was screeming at him to never remove my engines air cleaners.!! He was furious and not the guy to piss off !!

A true American Icon !!!!! Best of all he was the hardest Damn racer ever. hard on his equipment, hard on his team and hardest of all on himself. It's going to be a very sad day the day we loose A.J.

This man has been my hero since I was six, so some 51years!! He wasn’t perfect but he was honest and earnest, with the tell it they way it was belief that made him AJ. Still the only driver to win Daytona, Indy and LeMans in the same year. Probably should have died in three crashes or at least retired. But the drive in that Texan is unparalleled. Arguably THE best driver to ever wheel a race car of any type. God bless AJ!!

yes the tough texan, he was good at driving and wrenching, and finding talent, but tempermental and tough as nails surviving those terible wrecks and comming back, and badass enought to take a dirt car and beat the new fangled mid engines at the milwalki mile that one year, problably best of all time even if others surpass his records, he did it in another era when it was tougher more expeamental, more gladiator, a ledgend and I belive raised catholic, but german american to the core, tough loyal and good at what he did, honest and in ernest about things. would like to meet him sometime before he leaves this world. a ledgend like another texan carrol shelby.

Remarkable survivor during a hectic period of motor racing. Been bent quite a few times but the mind is still sharp. Wonderful to see and hear.

AJ is one tough man. I have used him as an inspiration to battle thru cancer, hip replacement, broke shoulder and deafness. Like him I am hardest on myself.

A.J. has been so remarkable throughout his career. They make ‘em tough in Texas. I remember watching him back in the 60’s. I’ve followed A.J. and Dan Gurney from way back. AJ was an amazing sprint car driver.

A very close friend of mine lived just a couple houses away from AJ Foyt , he was really a great man when ya would see him and heck his place was amazing because he raced everything on 4 wheels you could race and he even had an area where his race cars were at his place

I worked at the Chevrolet store in Houston almost 10 years. He was my boss & good to me as far as candid? It could be his middle. You would never have any doubt where he stood on anything

AJ belongs to the world, he won Le Mans and was a great racer. I like to think of him as a human first and not where he was born.

AJ has seen alot. He's a very fortunate man and a very lucky man. Alot of other drivers that he raced against we're not. I'd say AJ is the best all around driver there has ever been. He could drive anything and win with it. I'll never forget when he bitch slapped Arie Luyundyk. 😱

Mr Foyt the infection suddenly got up and ran out of your IV line. It seems to have been running away from a bee venom in your blood stream.

In one NASCAR race upon leaving the pits he looses four wheels:Uh-oh time for a new pit crew.If they ever do an autopsy on AJ they will probably find racing oil coursing thru his veins. He has proven that he's one hell of a racer.Your health is your wealth.
