Teacher Jan's Favorites I was there as well...I had cool parents! We lived 5 blocks away on 29th and Parnell, we walked down to the show when I was only 4. Strangely enough, I remember pieces of the show.
I was honored to witness this amazing concert in the Astrodome in Houston! If you think Michael is amazing on video.....in a live performance he would leave you SPEECHLESS with your mouth wide open in disbelief!
This was 1984 my daughter Uyvette won front row tickets and backstage passes to the show from WJPC Radio station and Toddle in the Middle. She took her little brother Lloyd who was Michael Jackson crazy, the glove, beat it jacket, penny loafers, white soxs and the scary curl. Thanks for a life time experience
@@TheEpic1976 when did they say that? I go to Vegas every year and do the Private Q&A that John Branca and The Estate puts on every year. That was NEVER said.
So all this meticulous work put into recording MJ live during this tour, and yet 33 years later there's still no official dvd/blu-ray available for purchase. Ridiculous.
+tylerdurden3891 in these years Wacko Jacko was born and Michael's image was raped and by the end of his life he was turned into a joke. Karen Faye says Michael's will is fraudulent. CNN showed his dead body live on TV. They had to win a trial for his death, the lowest intricacies of which made headlines. The public don't want it anymore. The Estate of MJ does what they want. Did you think shit like this would happen back then? And the fact that it all happened chasing dollars...
Beautiful how they tlked about his audience and what Michael's true purpose in this Life was when they said how broad the audience was..Bringing people together to see how they can live together if they truly wanted.
This was great seeing them on there performing thay haded a great energy the brother's wear amazing they haded nice body's in 1984 i loved micheal did it the slow motion everything this was! Incredible everyone was amamzing😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Somebody’s got to splice all this golden footage together in an amazing HD quality release at some stage. There must be some incredible moments recorded from those videos taken by the guy on stage with them. What an artist. That three step move he does on the: “why, why, why” parts near the end of ‘Human Nature’ are wonderful.
i have the bad and dangerous tour on dvd but they absolutely need to release the victory tour. itll mean more money for the estate but more importantly for the fans to see all the brothers together for the final tour
Omar Scruggs We need the bad, victory, triumph tours all on high definition film. Those dvds you have are unacceptable and will never capture the true talent of mj at his peak.
Wonderful stage presence by the Jacksons. I especially enjoy the reaction of the fans and Michael Jackson determination to capture all the concerts via his personally hired camera man. Wherever you are my angel Michael I honestly love you for all eternity!
ICON is MJJ by Mrs. Michael Joe Jackson "Michael jackson determination to capture the concerts via his professional hired camera men" Funny none of these concerts shot on high definition film have ever been released and probably never will. What a waste of time and money and most of all the pure talent of Mj at his peak...
I was there. I attended 2 of the 3 shows in Chicago. Being at those concerts, at that time...the energy in that place was undescribable. Being there is the highlight of my 54 years on this earth.
I was in front row...it almost makes me tear up that he coldnt hold in and not act on his inner demons..this was the best concert and there is not a band I probable have not seen....this doesnt show the true show that was put on..it want just snding and dancing..there were mini play at various times. If he lived and only played in UK when he died..I would have flown to it.
I went to 2 shows on the Victory Tour-Incredible! I told people for years,Michael filmed those shows but would never release the footage. Now it belongs to his estate and they wont release it. Somebody needs to find Patrick Kelley for his take.
It was important to capture footage of performances, except what good is it if its not properly released to be enjoyed the way it was intented??? The estate SERIOUSLY neads to be patitioned to release proper footage!!!! They nead to feel the heat 🔥
I like how it's "A Jackson Family Celebration", yet the introduction is a snippet of 'P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)' - a song that only features 3 Jackson siblings (Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson and La Toya Jackson). Surely a song like 'This Place Hotel' would've been better? ('2300 Jackson Street' would've been even better, but that hadn't been released then)
I just hope the tapes have been preserved properly and that if or when they release it, they don't short change the fans with inferior picture quality like the Bad tour DVD that was released last year.
The "HD" camera kept breaking down... and it took about 30 minutes to fix every time so there is no full hd copy of the concerts and the bros blocked MJ from release of the copy he made because he blocked them from signing a multi million dollar deal to have it filmed for video release. Sony claims that they have NO rights to the footage and CAN NOT release it. Some speculation that Don King has partial or full rights to the footage has gone around as well and because of his beef with Michael and the family he will most likely not agree to have it released unless it was in his personal financial favor... just a speculation though. It was rumoured that Fox had rights to the footage but they have denied that as well...
I was there, on the Saturday concert. I bought my ticket from a scalper for $15.00. I got lucky because that was all that I had on me. I was 19 at the time.
If you pause at 12:48 when he does the kick it shows the top of his head and you can see the bald spot and the hair piece he was wearing to cover it up.. smh
