A man holding a knife attacked a bus used by a Japanese school in the eastern Chinese city of Suzhou on Monday (June 24), seriously wounding a Chinese woman and injuring a Japanese woman and her child.
The two Japanese victims' wounds are not life-threatening, while the critically injured Chinese citizen is still undergoing treatment.
Chinese foreign ministry says that it was an isolated incident.

There’s actually a lot of knife/blade attacks in China. They usually don’t make international news unless the victims are foreigners. Many of the knife attacks involved victims who were small school children.

This is a hate crime. Most chinese bottom-class people hate japan for the war crimes they committed during WW2. The suspect is a 52 year old unemployed male not from Suzhou, so we know he planned this out as he came here. Furthermore, the government quite supports these hatred towards japanese people even though the japan now is not the imperial japan that did the war crimes
