Suggestion for a build: a massive cherry tree in the middle of a circular pool and the pools bottom is yin yang. I tried to build it myself in creative and it looked very nice but I'm sure you guys could do it better. The build doesn't have any function unless you put some kind of farm under it. Also love your work:)
This is NOT a Pagoda, it looks a lot more like Matsumoto Castle from Japan. So here are some differences between japanese Castles and Pagodas. Purpose and Function: Pagoda: Pagodas are religious or spiritual structures, typically associated with Buddhism but also found in other Asian religions like Hinduism and Taoism. They are used as places of worship, meditation, and the housing of religious relics and scriptures. Japanese Castle: Japanese castles, also known as "shiro" in Japanese, are fortified structures built primarily for defense and military purposes. They were used as strongholds for feudal lords and their armies during Japan's feudal period. Architectural Style and Features: Pagoda: Pagodas have a multi-tiered, tower-like design with multiple stories, often with slightly upturned eaves and decorative elements like carvings, sculptures, and ornate roofs. Their design is more ornate and symbolic, with an emphasis on religious and spiritual symbolism. Japanese Castle: Japanese castles have a more utilitarian and defensive architecture. They typically feature stone walls, moats, drawbridges, and high, thick walls made of wood or stone. Castles have a keep (main tower) that may have multiple stories, but the overall design is focused on fortification rather than ornate decoration. Materials: Pagoda: Pagodas are often constructed using materials like wood, brick, or stone, and their design allows for more decorative elements and intricate craftsmanship. Japanese Castle: Japanese castles are primarily constructed using wood, stone, and sometimes earthworks for their defensive structures. Their design prioritizes durability and defense over decorative elements. Cultural Significance: Pagoda: Pagodas have deep religious and cultural significance in many Asian countries, especially in Buddhist traditions. They symbolize the spiritual journey towards enlightenment and serve as places for contemplation and worship. Japanese Castle: Japanese castles are symbols of Japan's feudal history and the power and authority of feudal lords. They have historical and military significance and are often associated with Japan's samurai culture. Location and Distribution: Pagoda: Pagodas are found throughout Asia, with variations in design and cultural influences from country to country. They are often located at temples, shrines, and other religious sites. Japanese Castle: Japanese castles are unique to Japan and were most commonly built during the feudal period, primarily from the late medieval period through the Edo period. They are scattered throughout Japan and were strategically located in various regions.
This is great information, thank you for the detailed response! In your description of style and materials this build fits more the pagoda, but maybe the asymmetric roof lines make it appear less of a pagoda?
You guys are some of the best builders I have ever seen. Truly phenomenal stuff! I love the way you do the interiors and how the exterior makes it clear what kind of farm it is. Any suggestions on how you determine the best size for a build? I find that I always tend to make to too small or too large. Any suggestions are appreciated!
Just recently found your channel and I wanted to say that you are doing a really great job with everything, love the build as well, really beautiful and really well made, love the aquariams in the front! keep up the good work
Is it just me or is the flying machine and rails messed up in the complete schematic file? Trying to build the farm and making sense of the flying machine is nearly impossible.
Yes it might be in the pagoda build schematic, I've included a schematic of the farm separately which should work. Let me pull a fresh schematic tonight for you!
I tried to overlay just the farm over the build from the complete build and it for some reason seems to be a different size? Maybe i just need a break from Minecraft lol@@whatsminedisyours
haha! They should fit, those are the exact two schematics I used for the build, updating the combined schematic now! Let me know if that works for you!
