hello here's a fun little goofy video for your brains to enjoy The music in this video is all either from the youtube audio library or from Minecraft (C418)
It's a shame, Bedrock is objectively better in terms of code optimization and the ability to play with others across multiple platforms, but Java is the version I've always played on and preferred. There are too many weird differences between them that actually affect the gameplay that I'm turned off by in Bedrock, but I would so love to have crossplay and better optimization on Java.
I agree with everything you said. The motivation behind bedrock makes sense, but it just has too many differences and a lot of those come from the crossplay itself.
@@morg-orgyea but as a bedrock player, i like java better i just dont have access to it but i have tried it the biggest readon why is the combat system where you dont only just tap the mobs but you can swing the sword and theres cooldown which makes it a Better combat system
For bedrock to fix the shield problem I just move the crouch button to one of my side mouse buttons…… also I grew with Minecraft legacy than move to Minecraft bedrock but once I got my Pc & started playing Java yeah it’s the one I do prefer mainly for mods of course but I do like bedrock to play with my friends or family…. I don’t have friends yet to play on Java with
Thank you so much! This is honestly one of my biggest gripes with bedrock. I can feel my life sapping away every time i have to wait for that animation to play (i open my inventory/chests often). Next time i play bedrock i'm definitely changing this. Thank you again!
what i hate about bedrock is the odd inconsistency between the stability of the base game and the supper laggy interface, its like they have a divided team of devs in the studio where one team put their hands in the dirt just to make the game super optimized and playable on alot of platforms, while the other team just went "ooOOOhhh gui animation, fancyyyyyyy, it takes time to load but whatever"
I don't know if this is your problem but I hope it helps you. If you go into screen options you will find a section that says DISABLE ON-SCREEN ANIMATIONS, click oh and the game will go quickly.
You can swim better in bedrock too, especially at the surface of the water, and you can sprint on water. Movement in general is easier in bedrock. The passive mob killing is very fun, not only because they get thrown in a comical way, but also because they continue to spawn new ones, unlike Java which only spawns them once per chunk. So you can just go on a killing spree, running around through the same forest, until your inventory is full of mob loot or you get tired. And I recommend doing that to get better at playing Bedrock, in general.
I liked at 1.9 combat at first when it came out, but then I realized that it's the same combat as 1.8 but boring because you need to wait before attacking instead of just simply having internal cooldown like in 1.8 so it's the same, but you are not forced to wait before attacking if you want to do something fast, and 1.9 swing animation is ugly, and it's not harder at all, the only noticeable difference is that 1.9 combat is extremely slow and boring and has ugly swing animation, difficulty is literally the same, it's just pointless, ah yes also sweeping edge which is extremely annoying and always forces me to be more careful when using sword making combat even more boring and slow
@@angel23444 a bit of pent up rage you have there. I do enjoy 1.8 pvp, but 1.9's is just better. It took me a bit to like it after switching from Bedrock to Java, and I'm still not good at it, but it is much more interesting than who can click faster. Which is pretty much every other pvp system in every other game. It still is fundamentally the same. It's who can get the most hits, but instead of getting carpal tunnel, you have to learn combos that deal the most damage.
@@anotherpromotor 1.8 PVP is not about "who click faster" there is a cooldown in 1.8, but it's internal unlike 1.9, which means that you can wait, but you don't have to if you don't want to, like if you spam click this won't change anything, 1.9 PVP is boring, I have no idea how anyone can find it interesting honestly, like yes it is interesting at first but gets extremely boring really fast, also about other games, for example in Terraria there is no cooldown, I honestly don't know any games that actually have cooldown, also in 1.8 you have to learn combos too, don't forget about fishing rod and other thing about 1.8 PVP, overall 1.8 PVP is fast and satisfying, and 1.9 PVP feels like you are fighting NPC, I don't know how to describe it better. Anyway I don't think that it's possible to make compromise that will make everyone happy, so I think they should just make game rule that is disabled by default that activates 1.9 PVP, it shouldn't be hard because 1.9 PVP is basically 1.8 PVP with few weird changes, and still feel much worse in compare to 1.8, but it's better to add a game rule than forcing it on everyone, so Hypixel for example can finally update their server to modern version of Minecraft without losing fun.
Bedrock has higher spwan rates for most mobs than Java. Which is really useful. For instance did you know that the trident on Bedrock is more OP than Java because it has a higher drop rate and it's base damage is the same as a netherite sword and when enchanted with impaling V you get 21 base damage in all forms of water even rain so you can one hit a player in full netherite
Well you can’t one hit a player in full netherite. You can one hit zombies, creepers, skeletons, and other basic mobs plus armorless players, but with almost any armor they can survive
4:48 sword deals more damage on Bugrock. also Java spawns mobs bottom of the world up, Bugrock spawns mobs top of the world down so we build our farms super high up.
I'm only partway through the video so far but YES I SO AGREE with 2:32 about the inventory! I'm a bedrock player who has played java super briefly and the instant inventory in java was SUCH a relief, we need it in bedrock. Worst of all it seems like the inventory is server-side or something somehow (?) because if you're playing on a server with a bad connection, the inventory lags before popping up, even for whole seconds if there's a particularly bad lag spike. Uh anyway, rant over, sorry about that. Just haven't heard someone else point that out before. I'll keep watching lol. Edit: 5:50 Yeah I think this, as well as other offhand limitations, is somewhat due to needing to make things work with mobile controls. Also why no Steak Mojang? So strange. Thanks for the video
Glad someone agrees lol! I thought I was the only one complaining about that but I guess it's a pretty universal complaint. Thanks for taking time out of your day to leave a comment! :D
you are really underrated, this is my first time seeing your channel and watching it and i was expecting you to be at least over 100k your conent is so cool!!!
bedrock is missing java features, but java is also missing loads of bedrock features. I play java now because of the mods, but frankly, I'm at home in bedrock. there are so many bedrock features and quirks that I'm used to compared to java. I'm still having to learn java, and sometimes my reaction is just pure hatred cause of the differences. like I CAN'T PUT DYED WATER IN CAULDRONS??? you can't make a witch's green brew build in java for no good reason! or even how building works in bedrock, it actually works differently. you can bridge so much easier in bedrock compared to java, and you can also place blocks in a line easier, and place stairs in a row easier. but that's non-existent in java and i wish it wasn't. frankly though, I think a lot of this is just due to how java is coded. maybe it'd make the game lag too much to add all these specific parity features?
The color in cauldrons is odd, and I don't know why it's not in Java, but Bedrock's building system was taken from Pocket Edition to make it easier for phone and console users. Java won't be adding it because it's meant for PC's which have the easiest mobility
I started playing on Java but now play on bedrock. Mainly to play on a realm with all of my friends that only have bedrock. I will say it's a bit tricky to get used to but I absolutely hate the having to crouch for the shield. I know it's simple but that drives me crazy
console legacy edition was awesome, bedrock edition was/is a massive downgrade. I almost never played multiplayer, but legacy edition was fine for an evening session with the boys. Plus the minigames were awesome
Just believe bedrock is more better - better combat , better cauldron, a better sword attack damage of 14 and it is even better than your java netherite axe 13 attack damage 😂😂😂😂😂😂, Minecraft bedrock have more stability, performance, features , and it also come with a lower price and many more.
Well actually comparing 14 damage and 13 is misleading. Bedrock max damage is 21 with an impaling 5 trident, but enchanting an axe on java will boost the damage over 14. Your point still stands, but you compared the wrong weapon. Also, trident is more limited because it only works underwater or in the rain
The one biggest thing Java playrs complain about in Bedrock is that there is something they arent used to. It is the dumbest shit I’ve ever heard. Get used to it. I could just say I eternally hate Java for its goofy ahh combat.
Nah man, I think you should keep the current Java combat mechanics until Mojang comes up with a better one. To this day, even the majority of java players still don't like it, how much more the bedrock side.
honestly, i dont know why some bedrocks hate java and some javas hate bedrock, the gameplay is the same and you have the same goals its just minor differences or exclusive things
