Thank you so much!! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I really wanted to take a more dramatic approach with this one and have it carry a very somber meloncholy song. Luke is battling with himself as much as the inquisitor. He has to live with the fact that he's the one responsible for his friends' deaths while keeping his emotions in balance 🙏

The light side takes a lot more discipline and practice. The dark side is an easy tap into power without the proper refinement to be adequately put to good use

Well, I've had 8 years of practice. The past 3 Ive actually had the resources to hone my skills more effectively. Its all just about practice and learning new techniques.

Thanks a lot! I had a bunch of lore planned up for this animation, but theres's quite a bit of stuff I didn't end up doing. Luke was supposed to get pushed into the darkside to win, and the battle was going to end up outside, where there would be more stormtroopers surrounding the base and executing prisoners. Luke was supposed to cripple an AT-ST with the force and unleash his inner Anakin Skywalker. The Inquisitor shown survived the galactic civil war by going into hiding shortly after the fall of the Inquisitorius program, and has been waiting in the shadows for many years waiting for a shift in power so he could fill the void and become the new ruler of the empire, or at least what's left of it. But all that stuff never ended up being shown or disclosed. Just turned into a short little lightsaber duel animation 🗿

Man, I was just so burnt out by the time I finished the fight scene, I just wanted the animation to end 😭😭😭 I really agree with you, and he definitely should have reflected on his actions and shown guilt for exploiting the dark side. Giving in to emotion isn't something Luke would be proud of as a Jedi, so you are quite right. Thank you for the feedback!!!

As a pretty hardcore Star Wars fan myself, I'd really like to get as much stuff right as possible, but there's really only so much I can do with the resources I have & a finite amount of motivation & time to get stuff done lol. My main inspiration for animation is the music that I know will accompany the piece I'm working on. I really enjoyed the score from RotJ "A Jedi's Fury," & I wanted to incorporate that song into an animation. That's where my inspiration for this brickfilm came from 😃

I wanted this to be the best lightsaber duel Ive done yet, so I went and found a bunch of inspiration and then got myself motivated to animate the duel of the century. It was originally supposed to be a way bigger and more drawn out lore, but lack of motivation & time hindered my abilities. It ended up just being a short little animation 👉👈

Thanks!!! It hasn't all been bad. All the newest stuff since the sequels (excluding Book of Boba, Kenobi, and Mando s3) has been good. Andor and the previous Mandalorian seasons have been good in my opinion. I've also been enjoying Ahsoka. Rogue One was also a phenomenal star wars film guided by Disney.

Thanks for watching! The inquisitor figure isn't really anything special, honestly. The body is just one of those imperial dudes who opperate the deathstar controls, and the head piece is from a really old set that I dont recall building. I just had the piece laying around so I decided to use it 🗿
