I think Juliet calls Marnie "Gran" because Romeo does. Mac was Juliet's father making Marnie actually her stepmother. Romeo is Juliet's brother through her mum, but also her nephew through her dad as James is Romeo's dad.

Typical Hollyoaks and their plot holes. Did no one in the vicinity hear a loud gun shot? I guess the writers let things like this slide if it suits the storyline. It does seem its storyline first, plausibility and character development (when people do things out of character just for the story) second.

It would be a shame if Juliet leaves us due to a bad chance of fate and more so now that she has the opportunity to walk the road together with Peri, married or not.
