Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture. With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

One tip: microheat it up on a plate, not in the plastic container it comes in, because it will release microplastics in the food and they will then enter the body through digestion!

My father grew up on an Idaho farm (yes, before anyone asks, they grew potatoes). One day, one of his dogs got run over by a tractor. THE DOG WAS NOT HURT. But for months, the dog would, "limp" around the farm. As Cookie (the dog's name) got older, they would call her, she would forget her limp, and then when asked, "Are you hurt?" she would start limping again, but she could never remember where she hurt so it could have been any one of her four fully functioning legs. I never met the dog, but my dad always laughed at that dog.

Zack, how come so many keyboard farmers, know how to run your farm better that YOU do?? I don't understand that?? Most probably couldn't raise poison ivy on the back of the outhouse!! What the heck?? Think I'll keep my faith in your judgement. Also I'm a bit disappointed in the engineers at JD!! Thanks for another great day and video Zach and editing Becky. It was interesting and enjoyable to watch. Maintenance on these new tractors and equipment is far more involved and always so important. Lots of oil filters and fuel filters to deal with. You did a great job Zach. Busy time getting ready for harvest season and putting things away from the spring work. The skid loader is a great help there moving things around. Nate is pretty handy with it. Nate’s interview with Ryan on older machines and tractors was very interesting. Nate’s history comments were really interesting to hear. Enjoyed that very much. Thanks to Nate for sharing the farming background. Putting equipment in the shed is important I think. Get it out of the sun and weather is the way to go. Thanks for everything Zach and Dad. You all take care and be safe. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.

2:43 when I worked at the car dealer I would take the oil cap off and put it in the hood latch. That way. Once the oil went in the Cap went back on. When I go to shut the hood and it won’t close cause a cap is there. Oops forgot the oil. Much cheaper to replace a oil Cap then the motor Maybe something similar would work.

If you had to lock down a unit as in DO NOT START AND DO NOT MOVE. We had to tie one red ribbon onto the steering wheel and report the issues to the traffic office. You were not allowed to start or drive a truck with a red ribbon on the wheel. Instant sacked, no right to appeal....
