Our trip to gyeongju and pohang was full of ups and downs, surprises and challenges, just like our lives. 🎢
Boarding the KTX for the first time, we arrived in Gyeongju, the ancient capital of the Silla Kingdom. The city is like an open museum. Strolling in between the ancient tombs was a unique experience, it makes me feel serene and peaceful. Surrounded by a field of blooming sunflowers and pink muhly at cheomseongdae, it was stunning and enchanting!🥹😍
However, things didn't go as planned when we were in Pohang. We couldn't figure out how the buses work in the largest city in North Gyeongsang Province😵💫. We got down the bus in the middle of nowhere and had to walk 30mins to our destination as the bus service is not frequent🥵. Arriving at Igari Anchor Observatory, I realized that I lost my t-money (transportation card), and thus we had to return to the initial starting point to search for the card (which I felt so sorry for my friend😟). And then we met Prof. Kim at Sabang Memorial Park, who is very enthusiastic in introducing his hometown, Pohang, to us and showing us other places in Pohang.
Thank you Prof. Kim, you had made our trip in Pohang so unique and remarkable. We were lucky to meet you in the journey. Take care, and hope to see you soon.👋
