A Journey Into My LEGO Harry Potter Collection 

What’s the most sentimental set in your collection?

I just recently had the mother of all lego purchases on ebay. This guy was selling 35 lego harry potter sets from 2001-2007. I ended up winning the auction for $900 USD and am currently selling all the duplicates (14 sets) for sets I already owned. Based on current bricklink prices, selling all those duplicates should total around $975, meaning I basically just got 21 new sets for my collection while making 75 bucks. Big W, I will be telling my grandkids about it someday.

This is quite possibly the largest HollyOnFilm lore drop we’ve ever gotten. If someone were to (hypothetically) draw up a map of the complete HollyOnFilm lore timeline, I would be sure to direct them toward this video.

I always love seeing people who have these themes, too. I thought I was the only person who obsessed over these sets this hard.

I was just wondering if you had a full collection of Harry Potter vid... And now you do 😂 My 9yr old Daughter got me the Hospital Wing for my Birthday this year and I fell in love with Lego all over again. Well Holly, your channel is the first one I come to for LEGO Harry Potter content. I have only been collecting for a year. It began last November when I was Christmas shopping for my kids and saw the Attack on the Burrow set at a local Target store. 😂 In this short time, I have acquired over 100 sets. Most of my collection is Harry Potter but some other ones as well (Star Wars & other Disney themed sets). Despite your hardships, I admire your strength to overcome and persevere. In my 40 years on this planet, I have learned a few things. The most important one being that it’s okay to fail. It’s going to happen in life. Whether it be due to our own choices or choices of others. What is not okay is to quit. You, ma’am, are not a quitter 🤗 Keep up the wonderful work! I look forward to your next video. Cheers from 🇺🇸

2007 Hogwarts was my first Harry Potter lego set as well! But it was the set that brought me out of my dark ages, and I've collected most of the Harry Potter lego ever since. Have loved watching your lego journey over the years, keep up the great content 😀

I imagine your mom was exasperated at times - I know mine was! 🤣 Speaking of your parents though, do you think they'd ever be interested in doing a cameo? 16:38 - Good grief, that was a year ago already?! 😲 My Top 5 Favorite HP Sets are: 5. Number 4 Privet Drive (2020) - So accurate to the movies and lots of fun play features! 4. The Black Lake (2023) - Beautiful remake of a set I always wanted! 3. Hagrid's Hut (2019) - Like you said, very accurate and thorough recreation of my favorite HP movie! 2. Hogsmeade Village Visit (2021) - Beautiful for display, and lots of interesting minifigures! 1. The Burrow (2010) - The only pre-2018 set I wanted badly enough to cough up the cash for. Phenomenal minifigures, lots of great accessories, and just a cosy recreation of the Weasley home!

My first Harry Potter LEGO set was Quality Quidditch Supplies. It has a yellow skinned Draco Malfoy. Then my second was the first Dumbledore’s Office. My third was the Hogwarts based on Prisoner of Azkaban (with flesh tone minifigures).

I have every play-scale LEGO Harry Potter set from 2018-2021. I don’t have all the promos, but I do have Diagon Alley.

I got my first Lego Harry Potter set in 2004 with it being the Draco Buckbeak set

Love this! I have a lot from the OG 2001 wave of Harry Potter sets for the Sorcerer's Stone and Chamber of Secrets. If I saw a lot for 200 AUD of a bunch of the older waves I know I'd be straight on it! I've just rediscovered my collection in my attic and am slowly taking them out and building them all again. It's one of the things that inspired me to start a RU-vid channel. I've just uploaded a build video for the 2001 Forbidden Corridor if anyone is interested in revisiting that magical set 🙂

...1400NZD? You actually gave 786€ for the UCS Hogwarts Express? Yeah. I wouldn't get rid of it either. I would keep it to remind me to never do such a silly thing again 😅 (Or I'd wait until it retired and the price rises until I can get those 786€+shipping back. Even if the video made you the money back, which I hope it did ahahahah) I do want to collect all Harry Potter sets eventually too, but I haven't made that a priority. I'm currently sitting at 63% but I've cleared most of the big (more expensive sets), so I don't feel so much pressure to get the rest as the ones missing are mostly the cheaper ones. And there are some I'm still considering if I'll get them at all, like the in-store promos which I don't really care for.

This was a major milestone for you and someone chose to be negative; you summed it up as i was thinking it "Why can't people be happy for you". Weird! Obviously we dont want to start a witch hunt though but thank you for sharing. I can imagine there was some major imposter syndrome!

Me at 3 years old: Mom, can I please have a Technic yellow crane? Mom *thinks I'm going to grow up and give up toys in like 5 years: no. And it's for the boys. Go play with those pink Barbie dad got you. Me: *develops aversion to all things pink and dolls. Me at 9 years old: *somehow successfully talks her round into buying Lego Fire House for a birthday. Me at 10th birthday: *mission failed, gets Monopoly for the same price as the Police station. 2005 yellow crane: *mission failed as well. 🎉 Me in 2008: hey, mom, can I please have at least this tiny Quidditch Lego set? Mom: *turns around and leaves the store. *Fast forward 12 years *Me with a stipend and a Hogwarts Express: lmao. Mom: *surprised Pikachu face. Me: *buys a 2005 Yellow crane in a perfect condition. 🎉 Me: thanks mom, for not buying, I've got new and improved versions of Lego. Oh, and see that Hot Toy? You wanted me to play with Barbie, here you go, but not like you thought. 😂🎉
