Pretty sure one of NL's biggest bad habbits is he never knows when to get rid of the swan. At some point many combat units are just better than an 8/8swan

When he talked about people nit picking every single decision he makes, made me reflect and man, there are a lot of people who sound really mad at the Egg's virtual insanity
his rationale was, "we can't take leopard we need to reduce enemy hp because we don't have enough attack" leopard is literally a skunk just instead of enemy hp it's unit attack
Putting weak units at the front in case they have an ant is an extremely low percentage play, but I really hope he does it long enough to shift the meta with it. It totally loses him early rounds all the time tho lmao

My take is that the first can isn't that good, but anything after that feels pog. They're obviously better if you have space on your team for new animals though. If you're rocking a bison and T3 for example, you have less space and cans will benefit you less.

I think I’m as guilty as he is with camel bias, but I feel like camel monkey is a great combo with a hippo behind. Probably worse than just hippo monkey but it’s just an animal I find satisfying to pop off with.
NL, you probably won’t see this… but I’d just like to kindly suggest a tiny piece of super auto pets advice… Consider freezing a pill almost every time you see it in the early game (obviously if you have a rabbit, disregard). I find it usefully to pill an ant, a turtle, flamingo, or maybe some random unit in front of an ox. All those appear pretty often in the early game. Good luck! From, A believer

I thought the funniest part about it was he said "I think you need a scaler instead of your camel and buy skunk and monkey" While having a level 3 fish with lower stats than the camel that he gave melon armor to instead of the camel. He couldve easily tossed the fish and taken the monkey to scale the camel or the hippo but hung onto a level 3 fish that literally gives you no more benefit other than having the ability to attack lol
NL using your stats in SAP play with the least bought units in every tier. Would be a fun one. I'm sure they're all terrible units, but still, would be fun to try.
Dude NL you have to sell that swan when you get to the end game. Unless it scaled up, you’re just getting two extra gold for a bad unit every turn. Should have sold it for the monkey, imo. EDIT: after another review the fish should have been sold, not the swan but still. If you got a mid unit then just sell it if you’re not scaling.
Not scaling the Camel with the Monkey is the downfall... Camel is only useful if it lives. Skunk(while it is an amazing pet) doesn't help your pets live, it just promotes favorable trades. But the Camel has to live.
everytime NL talks about which animal he's going to sell I always hold out hope that he'll realize that a 7-7 lvl2 swan on turn 12 with 9 wins is a handicap, but everytime he doesn't and everytime I feel like a fool
@@untexan Penguins and monkeys provide additional scaling which is directly relavent to winning, selling a Swan and buying a tier 5 or 6 pet with an actually useful ability and better stats is worth the 3 gold it costs 100% of the time
@@xboxollieify We might disagree on swan’s usefulness, but if you haven’t buffed it past 7/7 on turn 12, then you aren’t scaling at all and your team is screwed anyway
Oh my god NL stop buying Swans past round like 5. The point of a swan is to make money over time, but if you scoop up swans for 1/1 buffs, you're just exploding your profit. It takes 7 rounds for a Level 2 Swan to make you 1 extra gold after the 6 it takes to level it, only then do you profit leveling your swan. You're so much better off making the rest of your team stronger. Level 3 takes so long and takes so much gold it never gets there, yet he goes for it. It probably loses him runs.

Someone reveal the cupcake crab strat to nl so he can pog with it. Get a huge tall scaling single unit early game. Freeze any cupcakes and crabs. Double cupcake the tall scaled unit, crab copies health permanently and you get a turn 4-6 crab with 3 damage and anywhere from 15-30 health. With an early meat to put a cherry on top, rinse repeat on the same crab, put 2 cupcakes on the crab, buy a crab but combine with your original crab, the crab keeps the health after turn and now with meat the crab is essentially 15 damage, 30-45 health its insane
