In the 90s HBO tv decided that do tales from the crypt a the cryptkeeper was a puppet animatronic puppet and designed by Kevin Yagher who was the guy who created the doll puppet chucky from the horror movie child's play. The cryptkeeper is now a mummy hermit because his mother was a dead mummy and he's father was a freak show with two headed and the old wich and valt keeper were not in the show and it was OK if you like naked women and violence rated r and a kid friendly for the g rated version tales from the cryptkeeper and the cartoon has John kassir as the voice of the cryptkeeper puppet as the g rated version of the cryptkeeper and the cartoon design looks like the puppet and the old wich and the valt keeper show up in the show but disappeared in season 3 and the show went for seasons 3 and the better tales from the crypt than the HBO version which went for 7 seasons . The opening of show us the cryptkeeper house before we can go down the stairs to the basement and see coffin and the cryptkeeper jump scary with slime and the title tales from the crypt, that's the HBO version of the opening tales of the cryptkeeper has a different opening that you need to see yourself . Spongebob did reference the nostalgic critic review but Doug walker had a parody for them by calling the angry video game nerd and said to the nerd Spongebob hates you .
